Sometimes I don't know what to do with the bunch of misfits I manage at work.

There is never a day that everyone turns up at work. There is always a sick person.

It is so frustrating because I can't say or doing anything about it. They don't mind spending money seeing the doctor just to get leave from work.

And when they use excuses like ' a sick child' or 'pregnancy related issues' ... I can't do anything but give them the benefit of doubt.

When I catch them posting on instagram while on sick leave, they say things like "just because I'm sick doesn't mean I can't be on social media".

I might need to read up on staff management. This can't go on forever.

It has been quite a while since I received disgusting obscene messages ... In fact I did not know how to react. I was staring at it for a while pondering if I should yell at him ... or ignore him ... or block him.

This is what happens when you have lost touch with handling gross people on VR ... o.O not that I want a weekly dose or anything!

Anyway, assuming that he is civilised (based on the poetry in his journal) ... I politely asked him to stop being vile.

I guess I was wrong because I woke to a nastier message.

Well ... that is a lesson for me to always be on guard. Never to be oblivious because you can never see the lurking demons.

I have experienced that too over my time on VR now and then. I just find what works the best is stop responding back once the conversation heads into a direction I do not care for. I assure you the messenger is fully aware of what they are attempting to do. So I stop responding back and the messages stop and the person moves on. Very sorry you had to experience this. No ladies on this site should have too.

Ignoring is the best option but not many folks do this and it is a perfectly valid option. Just ignore the vile message....of course blocking him would put a final stop to his messages.

It was beautiful ... romantic and sweet ... came out of the cinema humming the tune. So happy they didn't ruin the original fairy tale. Very subtle additions but stayed true to our childhood memories.
