I want to stay professional but I am getting bloody irritated with one of my staff. It is only February and she has already used up half of her medical leave benefits.
She hardly comes to work and the rest have to cover her. I am so disappointed. She is not the same person we interviewed. We had so much hope on her.
Some youngsters don't know meaning of hardwork. Some ...

Get yourself a bag of line, a spade, dig a hole, invite her to lunch, drive her out of town, hit her on the head with the spade near the hole, so you do not have to drag her body far, toss her in, throw in the lime, cover the body, go back to work, tell the other workers when they ask where she is, last you saw her was at lunch but she got sick and went home. That MIGHT work. Maybe.

Well if she called in sick so much everyone will believe it. And since she barely works that means she most likely is living off Mommy and Daddy thus she an unproductive member of society so... does society really need another dead beat? Nope. Do society a favor, knock her off. Oh and delete this journal post so I am not implemented in her death. Cover your butt. Just saying...

Take notes bro... I could create the perfect murder. I think. Maybe. Ok well.... Oh and vacuum your car really good afterwards. I think that should cover everything. Or, you could just fire her. But planning her end would be fun.

I'm thinking there are too many satellites orbiting Earth recording everything for anyone to ever commit a crime outside and not get caught. Then, of course, there are cameras everywhere that can track a vehicle's movement from place to place by date and time. Well, at least here in the US. ijs

Oh yeah.... well heck. Ok, how about an accidental poison... like in that movie 9-5 when she thinks she poisoned her boss when she brought rat poison to work and.... well hmm... Ok, I guess fire her then. I could do it! Give me her phone number and I will text her...

I got it! Text her this: We’re downsizing/restructuring/right-sizing.

Tell her that she needs to address her medical issues and let her go. You need staff that are actually able to work. Tell her that hiring a new person will be less expensive than having to pay out as much overtime to staff that need to cover for her shifts. Your staff memeber will either get their shit together or she will be laid off. Either way, you will be able to have staff that actually works.

Well, in many states in the USA you can not fire someone for just being sick... I watch Judge Judy, so I know! She get a lawyer and sure... so I still go with.. Oh I got it! Tell her that her position is being dissolved! Then just rename her position to something else for whom you hire in her place!

Actually according to OSHA laws she may be able to lay off her employee, not fire her. If her staff is working in a building with other sick people, it would not be a good eviorment for her employee since her health is already preventing her from working. There are ways to get rid of people but this is more of a HR issue than anything else. Her company is losing money by not having a full staff present. I feel for her but her HR department needs to be made aware of her concerns so that they can deal with the situation in a prompt manner.

I am killing people now?
LZA ... here we can terminate based on attendance. If she is medically unfit and it affects the productivity we can let her go. She joined us less than 6 months ago. She was quiet during the probation, but the moment she got confirmed she started showing her true colors.
I am just disappointed because we wasted so much time training her. We had high hopes for her.
I feels like a slap across the face, I made a huge mistake.
