Highgate cemetary in London has got to be one of the most beautiful places I have seen in this lifetime. Victoria Francis uses this place for a lot of backdrops on her work and I was hoping my recent visit there would tell me why, I was not dissappointed...
Eternal ivy runs over forgotton headstones with barely visable writing. Tree trunks surround others as if trying to hold onto that persons memory, and bushes hide others that have been there for decades.
But angel carvings watch over them with sorrow in their eyes, and a black cat seems to guard the entrance and checking to make sure everyone leaves when the sun goes down....

sounds like a trully amazing place.Cemeteries are the most peaceful places.I always feel at ease and safe when I visit any of them.
