Dark Angel...by Jeni French05:14 Mar 26 2009
Times Read: 688
Dream lover.
like a dark angel
fallen from the sky
looming over me.
Offer me an inviting hand
Let me reach out to you.
I can feel it...
The warmth you radiate
in you
only in you.
We embrace passionately
and melt into each others arms
Even the darkest moments
feel like heavens come alive
my cares take to flight
my heart starts to soar
when I hear you whisper the words,
"I need you...."
I know its true
for I need you too my love.
Two souls become one
In a realm no one can venture
Dark angel
my sweet dark angel
tell me you will stay
give me your fatal silver kiss,
And let me be with you
in the immortal coil of love
forever....

Broken hearts, love's deceit,
pieces fall down to my feet.
Broken promises, love's a lie,
puddles form from tears I cry.
Broken dreams, love's illusion,
sorrowed cause of your intrusion.
Broken hope, love's a game,
doesn't last, ends the same.
Broken sleep, love's the cause,
digs at me with sharpened claws.
Broken spirit, love of sorrow,
stolen now is my tomorrow.
Broken life, love is lost,
Broken now and that's the cost.

Someday, Somehow
15:25 Mar 11 2009
Times Read: 702
I will live without you, you know
You weren't that much a part of my life
I will survive without your touch, your love
Someday, somehow.
I've done it once before, you know
Before you, before us.
I will teach my heart to do it again
Someday, somehow
You don't hold all of my love, you know
I kept some for myself, incase I needed it someday
I will give my love away again
Someday, somehow
There will be someone else, you know
Someone is waiting to love me
I will move on and find that new person
Someday, somehow
I will get over you, you know
You weren't too special to get over
I will let go of a past I longed to continue
Someday, somehow

How Do I Love Thee? by Elizabeth Barrett Browning10:17 Mar 04 2009
Times Read: 708
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
A Dream17:45 Mar 01 2009

In visions of the dark night
I have dreamed of joy departed--
But a waking dream of life and light
Hath left me broken-hearted.
Ah! what is not a dream by day
To him whose eyes are cast
On things around him with a ray
Turned back upon the past?
That holy dream--that holy dream,
While all the world were chiding,
Hath cheered me as a lovely beam
A lonely spirit guiding.
What though that light, thro' storm and night,
So trembled from afar--
What could there be more purely bright
In Truth's day-star?
