Silently, I lie alone
In this cold and empty bed.
My eyes are crying ice cold tears
And my heart is shattering into pieces.
Writhing and in torment
I crawl from the empty bed.
I venture out into the night
Searching for my mate.
I long to have him with me
To love and adore.
To gently touch his sexy body
And kiss his sensuous lips.
To look deep into his loving eyes
And melt into his arms.
To have him love and cherish me.
And chase away the fear.
To have him hold me close until the nightmare ends.
Until the day he's in my arms,
I guess this is my fate;
To aimlessly wander about lost among the night.

A tangled web
Of twisted words
Is all you give to me.
They are sewn together
With silver thread
To add a bit of splendor.
Every one is filled with malice
And crashes through my armour.
They wreck havoc on my fragile heart
And strip away what emotion I have left.
When it comes down to the bottom line
As the hands of life tick time away
Do you wonder what will remain???
...........................An empty, black hole.

lovely pen you are most talented
this I really like.
I know that I am not perfect
I never claim to be.
I live in a world
Filled with hurt and hate.
A world where noone
Seems to have a "soulmate"
Well, I and my beast
Have found our mates.
This world of hate is vanishing
As each others hurt we banish.
My love for him is strong and pure.
And of one thing I am sure;
My halo I will take off
And at his feet it will lay.
The only question now...
Is will he remove his wings???

Silently she sits, alone in the darkened room.
Slowly and faintly she begins to hear the music
Drifting in upon the waves that seem light years away.
Gradually she begins to sway to the beat of the music.
She is not afraid nor frightened, for this has been her longing.
The darkness lives within her;
In the inner depths of her heart and mind
She feels at home here in this place.
She stretches out her hands,
And the cool fingers of the darkness
Reach back and cradle her hands.
Its blackened wings wrap her inside
To shelter and protect her.
Oh how she has longed to become one
With her friend, the darkness.
The music of the darkness that exists
Within her mind, slowly starts to fade.
She grabs her blanket of darkness
And as her tears begin fall
The darkness gently rocks her to sleep.
As the moon begins
Its restless rise
Into an overcast and cloudy sky.
The beast within me
Starts to call
And beckons me
To wake and come
To play out in the night.
I slowly rise
And as I grind the sand
Out of my eyes.
I hear the melody of the night.
The restlessness within me
Begins to bubble over
As the beast reaches out
And gently tugs my hand.
My beast and I
Wander out into the night.
Not yet sure of where to go.
As the night wind gently blows
My beast and I become one
As we join in dance beneath a vampire moon.
