Woohoo! I'm going on vacation! I leave tomorrow! Just thought I'd share! =)

I don't know how many of you are from So Cal- specifically OC, but I feel the need to share a story I read in the newspaper a couple of days ago.



An off-duty LA police officer, was stopped at a stoplight here in Anaheim when he was shot in the back by his three year old son.

Let me point out the facts here:

1) The guy has been a police officer for ten years.

2) His 3 year old son was riding in the backseat and not in a child safety seat. (duh!)

3) He had two- not one, two- loaded weapons in the truck.

The last I read he was in critical condition at a local hospital and the chances for his recovery are slim at best.



Now, while I feel bad that he was shot and will at best live, but be paralyzed- just how stupid do you have to be!

A) You're a cop, have been for ten years. What the hell is your kid doing out of his car seat?

B) Being a reponsible police officer and all, why were your guns loaded and obviously accessible while you were off-duty had your child in the car with you?

C) Just how the hell do you think your kid is going to feel when he finds out that he killed his dad?



God save us from those too stupid to breathe!

I got a new dog! She's so cute! (I'm going to be putting pics of her in my portfolio.) She is three months old, and some sort of Terrier mix. Her name is Samantha, so we can call her 'Sammy'.

So here I am on the fourth day of a four day weekend, thinking about how I have to go to work tomorrow and hating it! If I could just win the lottery, all would be good.



Though I am one day closer to seeing POTC:Dead Man's Chest, so I guess it is all good! =)
