So I'm trying to get a job this summer through the public schools system, and I finally got an aplication. But there's 2 problems.
1.) I don't have my social security card.
2.) I might not get a chance to go to the doctor for a physical.
If I can't go to the doctor and get downtown by 4pm then I don't get the job.
And I have another problem: I'm starting school in like a week. It isn't summer school, it's like an advanced class so I don't have to take it next year, putting me ahead. It's not manditory, but still.
I suppose things will work themselves out, I hope.

I suppose I'm writing this so I won't forget. I saw the topic in the forum, but I didn't want to post it there.
It was around Christmas time about 8 or 9 years ago. I think I was 7 or 8, and me and my mother were at a Wal Mart. My brother was proforming at The Tivoli, in Chattanooga, TN, and it was a really big event. My mother wanted to by me a new dress for his proformance.
We searched everywhere and couldn't find anything cheap enough or nice enough until we went to Wal Mart. We picked out this beautiful dress and matching shoes, but when we got to the cash register my mother started counting her money, and found she might not have enough. To avoid the embarissment, my mother just said to put back the shoes before we even got to the front of the line. I remember holding back my tears.
Then the lady in front of us that was checking out turned around and said, "Nonsense. I bet your little girl would look gorgeous in that outfit. What's the occasion?"
My mother and her started talking about my brother, and I complete zoned out, as little kids do. About 20 minutes later when she finally paid for all her stuff, I sat the shoes and dress on the counter and my mother gave me this pitiful look. I remember thinking it was the saddest thing my seven year old eyes had ever seen.
Then the lady told me to run and get some candy for me and my brother, which I did without hessitation. Anything to get away. When I came back the dress and shoes were both still there, and I sat a bucket load of candy on there with it.
The cashier stared at my mother, not ringing it up, knowing she couldn't pay for it. The lady said to her, "Well come on, she's got another child she needs to pick up. What are you waiting for?" The cashier turned her attention to the lady and her whole demeanor changed.
She rung everything up as my mother frantically searched her purse and pockets, but when the cashier was finished the lady stuck two bills in her hand, one I saw was a 50. My mother stared in astonishment as the kind lady, my angel, walked out.
The cashier yelled after her about her change, but she just turned around and pionted to me, so the cashier handed me $15 and some change. My mother grabbed the bags and rushed out after her, but the cashier yelled again, this time about a reciept.
When we got outside, she had disappeared. Probably 30 seconds had passed, but she was gone. My mother mummbled, "Where did that lady go?" and I said something you know only a child would say out loud. I said, "That wasn't a lady, Ma, that was my Christmas angel, my guardian angel."
To this day I believe it was.

I could have stopped coming 2 weeks ago when finals were over, but my father stayed home from work then. He's at home=I'm not....=School.
So now, Sunday night, I sit here listening to Tokio Hotel and waiting for Thursday, the last day of school.
The only thing I'm goning to miss is my boyfriend, who I'm breaking up with the last day of school. [[I'm almost certain it'll ruin his summer.]]
But I don't mind, cuz I already have a summer fling linned up... I spent all day with him Friday, then I found out he lives less than a block from me! WONDERFUL!!!
I guess that's my thoughts on that.
