What is with so many peoples inherent fear of darkness? It is because it forbids us the sight that makes us feel so comfortable? Is it because we fear the unknown and we want to know everything that comes ahead? Or is it because we have been trained to think something terrible lies in darkness? I find the darkness fascinating, for what is unknown means there is still something yet to be found. That is rather exciting to me. Do we fear darkness out of pure protective instinct, that the darkness represents our vulnerability, we hate to feel vulnerable. What does darkness mean to you? Does it scare you? Or does it fascinate you, and make you feel alive?

For me darkness it fascinates me. But at the same it's scary. You can't see through the darkness. Not being able to see can be scary.

And you most certainly aren’t the only one that feels thats way, as humans we rely heavily on sight and not our other senses
