Maybe Shelly watched too many CSI shows or read too many suspense novels, but something just nagged her.The lone manwho just took the briefest of dips in the river, who was he? Was he a local, or just visiting? Why did he raise her suspicions? He seemed normal enough, but then again why would he need such a big back pack for biking in the woods? what else was in the bag? he never took his off the bike and bag for very long, it seemed his gaze only left to look in the direction of the young girls around him. Shelly wondered if she should visit the local police and explain her feelings about the mysterious man, would they take her serious? Several years before there was a widley broadcastes "abduction" story in the news. The mother of the small boys gave a description of the carjacker/ kidnapper and made an emotional plea for their return. Being a mom of young children Shelly took the situation to heart. She later had a vision that the 2 boys were in the water some where. She felt so uneasy with this and didn't know what to do with this information. Later that day the news reported that the mother had actually drown her 2 children on the day she''d made her false report. Shelly felt heart sick, why have this knoweledge if she couldn't help those children??????

It was a very hot day on the rocky banks of the river, Shelly was hot and tired, and to tell the truth really didn't want to be there. The girls begged and bugged her to let them go to the river to swim with Allen, Winter's boyfriend. Shelly wasn't entirely comfortable with this and only relented if she went along, too many teens have accidents doing what seems innocent enough. She loved her children all 7 of them, called them the" His, Hers' and Our gang" but loved them all as if they were her own. The girls were the youngest, #6 & 7 in the line-up. Winter is tall thin with long dark brown hair with golden highlights, a true beauty, and an awesome artist. Georgia, not as tall as her sister but catching up is a very athletic cheerleader and has blonde hair. Both are very good swimmers but the river is rough. Allen is a young man who adores Spring, young love....

While sitting on the rocky bank in the gorge Shelly amuses herself by watching people, her girls and Allen, as well as others. She's upset she forgot her book at home but would probably keep an eye on the teens anyhow. After the trio swim down to the rope swing Shelly notices an odd man arriving on the river bank. He is tall , fairly well built, wearing hiking gear, except he's shirtless. He has a trail bike and a large back pack with him. The fact that he's not unattractive does not go unnoticed by many, but he seems odd to this one overprotective mom, Shelly. This fellow seems to scan the area before he strips to shorts and takes the briefest of dips in the Lehigh river. As quickly as he undressed he redressed him self and rode away on his mountain bike. Shelly wasn's sure why she felt so uneasy about this man, she just did. Some times she had these odd feelings, but usually they were vague. She was happy to leave when the kids got bored. Two days later there was a news story about a missing teenaged girl who was last seen swimming at the river in the very same location where Shelly and her trio had been.........................
