The search party combed the woods and river banks, Lindsy could hear them calling her name, she couldn't call out to answer. She felt so hot tired and scared. What did he want, why was she still alive? Oh lord was he going to torture her? She didn't know how much more she could endure...........................

Lindsy came to and the sun was setting, her head hurt and for a second or two she forgot where she was. she tried to get up from the ground and was painfully and terrifyingly reminded. Where was he ? What was he planning to do with her? Could she get herhands and feet untied? she struggled adn wriggled her fingers and hands working on all the tight knots in the bandanna. She was gagging with what ever he had shoved into her mouth and taped over her lips. Her arms ached being tied to her feet behind her back, he must have thought she'd try to escape............

Irving was his birth name, geeze what a crappy name! did his parents lie awake dreaming of ways to torture their baby, didn't they want a child? was this one of their revenges, helping him to be bullied every day of his life? He was so skinny and neede the biggest thickest glasses, it didn't matter that he was a nice kid or that he was smarter than the big dumb bullies, it never did when they were pounding on you. then there were the girls , the ones you thought liked you but really just made a fool of you to make themselves look cool in front of the big jock types who were also bullies. HE FELT LIKE HE WOULD EXPLODE WITH ALL THAT RAGE HE HAD INSIDE HIM. He never felt good about any thing after he started school because some one was always ragging on him and hurting him. he hated Gym classes because he never was good at any physical activities, and usually fell which amused most of the other students. this made IRVIN feel even worse. Someday they'd all be sorry, he'd be the strong tough one and he'd be the one laughing. Yesterday when he watched those teen aged girls jeering at the chubby teenaged boy on the river bank something snapped, it was as if he was 14 years old again and he was being ridiculed instead of Lindsy's baby brother whom she calls "tubby the whale' because he's so chubby and slow. The stranger had no way of knowing that these 2 were siblings when he followed Lindsy into the woods to make her pay for her hurtful words. He just wanted her to suffer like he had suffered so many times in the past.

The missing girl's name was Lindsy. She was 16. She had just wandered up the river bank a ways to go for a pee in the woods where no one would see her. she was there with a bunch if teen aged friends and didn't want a boy she liked to see her going to the bathroom. Like boys didn't think girls did that. That was when our stranger seized his opportunity. In his large backpack he had rope and other supplies. Lindsy was taken by surprise, and shocked at how strong he was. he set up a small camp in the deep brush about one mile up river. her hands and feet tied togetherwith a bandanna in her mout as a gag. it was so hot, it was hard to breathe. when he left her alone she tried to get loose but fell and tumbled down the in the brush and hit her head. She felt the heat of the sun through the trees on her face and wished she could call out for help but could not. she felt weak and dizzy and passed out.....
