Lawsuit Time!

On Thursday, I was coming home on the public bus. When I arrived at the mainstation I step off the incorrectly parked bus and break my ankle.

Since the bus was parked at an angle and was about 2.5 feet away from the curb, I have decided to sue Reno Transportation Center.

What if I happened to be a lot older, a senior citizen could have been hurt a lot worse! A child could have rolled under the bus and been killed!

Now I am not trying to get rich from this, I just want to have my medical expenses paid, potential lost wages, and of course legal fees paid. I am going to have to have orthopedic physical theropy, emergency room bills, medication, as well as if my ankle requires surgery later (it is basically stuck in one position) I shouldn't have to pay for it.

The bus driver's need to learn how to drive and park their busses correctly. All busses should have the kneel feature in the front as well as in the back. From the last step on the bus, to the ground was well over 2 feet when I stepped off it!

There were a number of people that had to jump off the bus because it was too far to step. I chose to step down because I figured it would be the safest option. Regardless I guess I was screwed!

I just hope I don't loose my new job tomorrow when I hobble in there with a broken ankle. Then I will really be angry.
