I feel it coming over the horizon. I look up. I see the black hole maw eating the planet miles away and moving this away. There is no expression there is no feeling just the headache from the universal howling of the black hole. So this is where it stops on this hill in the woods. Rolling at me. I stand up rolling my shoulders and stare unblinking at the utter blackness. Raise my hand and shout, "Not here, Not now, Not ever." The black hole blinked. Yelled back curses and bulls*%*t. It blasted the mountain stone sending shards at me. Spinning up energy, I melted the stone. There was no second attack. The black hole just disappeared. Everything is good and great. What was left in front of me was the remains of mountains, gorges and a soft wind. From the trees my friend a came bounding to me. A Hell hound, my companion. I scratched her ears and she moaned in the desolation.
