Forever young, not in body

but in mind and heart and soul

with a love so strong and true

Love, like the first warm rays of Spring..

Fills me with the deepest longing

To feel your touch, to hear your voice

that which makes my heart rejoice



Eluded love, lost in time

never knowing when it will be mine

always searching, never finding

until that day I found you wanting



Love at first sight, glory beheld

Tender kisses beneath the stars

Hearts entwining, dancing forever

to a tune of love, of helpless surrender



Miles travelled, lessons learned

Hardship taken and respect earned

situations where no man sleeps,

gives time to think what that man seeks



a love so strong that can never be broken

a mountain in the face of a fury woken

stone for stone, grain for grain

a mountain of love endured in pain



silence eternal cannot contain

the love he feels and endless pain

of being so near, and yet so far

like wishing on the brightest star



never in his wildest dreams,
