(Dear anyone who cares to read,
I am writing on the behalf that I have decided I am not going to live anymore. Maybe it’s the lack of knowledge; maybe it’s the fact that I am invisible in the whole human society. Anyways… I guess I am off.
-Aryanna)
I looked down at the letter and sighed as I looked back up in the mirror. “Well, here goes nothing I guess.” I took the bottle of Ibuprofen out of the cabinet and held it in my right hand and slowly started to knock a few pills into the left hand. ‘I wonder if doing this will make me leak out anywhere…. Or if I’ll leave a big mess on the floor… Wait…. What am I saying?! I’m trying to kill myself, not try to make it easy on cleaning up. Okay. Focus!’
I continued to shake some of the pills out of the bottle as my hand twitched on me, causing me to knock the whole bottle to the floor. “Shit!” I shouted. I bent down to grab the bottle. As I stood up I hit my head on the cabinet door. I slightly slipped backwards into the empty tub knocking down the shower certain and pole.
I laid there for a moment and thought it myself. ‘What the fuck just happened?’ I tried to pull myself up but I could tell I had shattered my shoulder in five different placed as I screamed loudly. My parents quickly rushed in panicking to see if I was okay. They took a look around and looked at me with a disappointed face. I smirked slightly and thought…
“Just Perfect”
By Corrin Peavy
My mother was driving me to the hospital, lecturing me all the way there. “Do you know it will cost us fifty-dollars to repair that tub certain?! And what about this hospital bill!! This is going to cost us a fortune!!” She continued on and on.
‘No Mom, I didn’t just try to commit suicide. I mean what was I thinking? That poor shower pole! What did it ever do to me? Yeah I know… I should have been thinking! I mean! Whoa! This hospital bill is going to cost a fortune, and just in case you’re wondering, no I’m not okay. I just broke my arm, but thanks for being more worried about the shower pole, because it didn’t cause me this at all!’ I thought bitterly in my head.
In the emergency room, I sat patiently with my mother. It seems like you have to be half dead before someone will help you. A guy across from us was holding his arm, told the lady beside him, he accidently cut his arm clear open. She had told him that she accidently drilled five nails in to her foot.
‘Really? You drilled five nails into your foot? How did you not notice?!?!... And how in the hell do you cut your arm wide open and call it an accident!?!? There are suicidal people everywhere!! They are just making up stories so they don’t go to the co-co bin.’ I thought to myself.
A nurse in pooh-bear scrubs came from behind the doors and called my name. When me and my mom stood up she grabbed me by my left shoulder. “Now, when we get in there, we are just going to say you fell” She said. ‘No…. Really? I just magically broke my arm in five places by doing nothing… No shit mother! How else would I break my arm?!’ I nodded slightly as we walked back with the nurse.
“Well… Looks like you are in a bit of a pickle” The doctor said. “Exactly how did this happen?” Before I could open my mouth, my mother began to explain the story for me. “She… Uh… was… in… the… shower!! Yeah!! And she… uh… slipped….” My mother explained. ‘Way to tell the doctor mom….’ I rolled my eyes and turned my head.
The doctor looked at my mother slightly confused and nodded. “Oh…Kay… Aryanna… Did that really happen?” I turned back to him slightly. “What?” I said. “Did you fall in the shower?” I thought about it for a moment. “Oh! Yeah…. That’s what happened….” I turned my head to see a jar of suckers. “Can I have a lollipop?”
Moments later the doctor told my mother and me that I had to go and have a small surgery to re-align my joints. We agreed as they stripped me down and took me away into the back of the hospital. ‘Well this is going to be fun.’ I thought.
The surgery took a few hours. I remembered having a weird dream while under anesthesia. It had something to do with leprocons on unicorns taking over the world with candy like powers. And out of nowhere came this ninja punching him in the throat. It was weird.
I slowly began to wake up with this cast on my arm. The doctor was standing over me smiling. “Well good morning, Ms. Cooper. The operation was a success.” I slowly sat up feeling numb in my body. My mother was standing beside the doctor smiling. “And thanks to your father, we don’t have to pay thanks to insurance.” I thought. ‘Wow… Is something actually going right for once in my life?’
“Aryanna…. Aryanna….” A voice called me to me. I reopened my eyes. “Aryanna!! This surgery is going to cost over fifty-thousand dollars!! How in the hell do you think we are going to pay for this?!?!”I groaned slightly. ‘Fucking dildo! Was that still a part of my dream?!”
The doctor came from around the corner. “Oh! And we also found something else that she might need to take care of.” The doctor handed my mother a slip. My mother’s brown eyes widen. “Another thousand dollars for a therapist session!? But she slipped!!” All of sudden I felt a slight twist turn in my stomach.
“Yes, but we found a good amount of overdose pills in her system.” The doctor explained. “Those were just an accident!! She didn’t mean to take them!!” My mother continued to argue. My stomach still felt weird. ‘Ugh. What is that?” I thought. ‘Oh… Oh no… I know….’ I leaned over the side and vomited all over my mother’s new leather boots. “My boots!!!!” She shouted. I leaned back in the bed closing my eyes. ‘Someone shoot me’ I thought. “Aryanna!!! Why would you do that!?!” My mother shouted. I just groaned slightly.
The rest of the night was in a bit of a blur; my mother was complaining how I purposely vomited all over her new boots. ‘Yes. Because I hate leather shoes so much I wanted to vomit all over them, just to ruin them. That’s exactly what happened mom.’ I sighed slightly thinking. ‘What’s going to happen at school tomorrow?’ I closed my eyes and slowly started to drift into sleep.
The next morning, as soon as I walked into the building, all eyes were on me. I tried to keep distant from everyone. ‘Yes, the freak show has arrived; to pay a visit will cost five-dollars’ I thought in my head as I continued to walk down the halls of my high school.
“Aryanna! Aryanna!”My friend called to me. I turned to see a five-foot-three girl standing before me. “Oh my gosh! What happened to you?! You looked like you got hit by a bus.”I smirked slightly. “Thanks, you don’t look that bad yourself today.” I replied. “I didn’t mean it like that.” She whimpered. I shook my head. “Sorry. I guess when everyone has been watching me like a monkey balanced on a big inflatable green ball; I tend to not be so cheery.”
She nodded and looked down. “So hey! I heard that Brantley and Jocelyn broke up today.” I shrugged opening my locker slightly looking at her. “So?” She opened her mouth slightly. “So?! You have only been crushing on him since seventh grade.” She explained. “Have not.” I denied. She raised her brown eyebrow at me in disbelief.
I sighed a bit. “Okay! So, what does it matter? It’s not like he would ever be interested in a girl like me.” She smiled. “I beg to differ; you are the coolest girl in this place! How would he not be interested in you?”
About the same time she said that, Brantley came walking around the corner with his dark brown hair, amazingly blue eyes and light pale skin. Just seeing him made my heart race, except the look was completely different when he looked straight at me. He looked like I was a train wreck on the side of the road, surrounded by dead animals. He walked fully away as I frowned.
I slammed my face into my locker. “He looked at me like I was a naked manic dying from a flesh wound!” My friend looked at me confused. “What?!” I sighed and groaned a bit unhappy. “He looked at me in disgust basically!!” My friend frowned and patted my back. “It will be okay. I am sure he will come around and notice you.”I pouted a bit. “Or call the men in white to take me to the mental hospital!” My friend frowned and looked down patting my back still.
The bell rang for first period as I walked away. “Bye Ella.” I said. Ella waved by as I walked to my first class which was economics. As soon as I entered the room, I felt the gossips begin. I sighed walking over to sit in my chair as someone tapped my shoulder. “Dude! What happened to your arm?” I just tried to ignore the talking and the questions.
The teacher walked in and looked at me. “Aryanna! What happened to your arm?!” I growled lowly and through my teeth as I said. “I fell, can we move on off my arm please?” The teacher was still in shock. “Are you going to be okay?” I sighed and put on a fake smile. “I’ll be fine. Please continue today lesson…” The teacher slightly nodded as I sunk in my seat.
The day continued on like that. Everyone gossiping and cracking jokes, my teachers showing so much concern over a broken arm. Why do I have to be the center of attention? I really wished the day would hurry up and end.
It was my last period class, English four, I could handle this. Only because not so many people were in that class. My teacher was at her desk looking up something stupid like she normally does, while the assignment was to quietly read ‘The Butterfly Garden.’ It was kind of a sad story, but I only read up to the third chapter.
As I continued to read the story at my desk, I felt a tap on my shoulder. ‘I will beat the fuck out of you if you ask me what happened to my shoulder!!’ I thought to myself as I slowly turned to see Brantley Scott behind me. My face turn a slight pink as I looked at him.
“Hey. Um… Aryanna right?” He asked. I nodded slightly speechless that he was actually talking to me. “Um… I know… So many people have asked, but… Um… what exactly happened to your shoulder?”
‘Have the gods just turned over in their graves and give me this opportunity or did Brantley Scott just talk to me?’ I wasn’t even paying attention that he was talking to me. “Aryanna!” I snapped out of it looking at him

I’m writing this letter today to tell you… I am done with your bullshit and that I have decided to move away, oh by the way, I ripped all your shirts and broke your computer. =] Thanks for being such a douche bag boyfriend and cheating on me with all my friends. Oh, and before I forget. Fuck you! Bye
~Jasmine =]}
Hi, my name is Jasmine Michelle Day; I am seventeen years old and now homeless. You see, the letter from before is my letter to my ex-boyfriend Jessie Parks. He had cheated on me for the last time, so now I am wondering the streets trying to figure out where I am going to go…. Could life be anymore complicated?
I was sitting on a bus bench thinking of where I was planning to stay. I could call Jocelyn… I thought. No I can’t she is out of town with her boyfriend. I sighed slightly. Maybe I could call Melanie… Wait no…. I think her parents are visiting her right now…. I can’t go over there in the middle of the night. Her parents will kill not only me but her. Damn! Where am I?
All of a sudden this voice called to me. I turned up and there was the most beautiful man alive. He had medium straight brown hair the laid over his amazing dark brown eyes. “Are you okay?” He repeated. I shook my head and smiled. “Yeah… Well… No.” He sat beside me. “Rough night?” He asked. I laughed a bit. “You don’t know the half of it.”
He smiled at me. “I’m Jacob by the way.” He reached his hand out. I looked at him and smiled back grabbing onto his hand. “Jasmine.” He nodded and looked up at me. “So Jasmine? What are you doing out here so late?” I looked up at the sky and just smiled. “That’s a complicated story.” He shrugged and smirked. “I’ve got nothing but time.”
I turned to him and smirked. “I don’t think you want to listen to my problems.” Jacob shrugged again leaning forward to look into my brown eyes. “Maybe that’s what you think, but here I am still waiting for you to start explaining.” I slightly chuckled and rolled my eyes. “Well… Where do I start?” I paused.
“I’ve been living with my boyfriend for about five months until now when I found out he had been sleeping and messing around with some old friends of mine, and I just graduated, and I live nowhere close to my parents and all my friends are busy tonight, so here I am on a bus bench thinking of what to do.” I explained.
Jacob kind of chuckled and looked away from me for a second then turned back to face me. “Sound like you’ve been having a pretty shitty day.” I rolled me eyes for a second and smirked. “More like shitty life.” I joked. He stood up and gently tapped my shoulder. “Well if you want you can come and crash at my place for a while.” I looked up at him a bit curiously. “Really?” Jacob shrugged. “If you want.”
I sat there and thought about it for a moment. Then I looked back up at him and smiled. “Sure. I have nowhere else to stay.” I stood up as he smiled. “We are going to walk for a bit.” I just shrugged as we began to walk away from the bus bench.
As we walked down the side walk of New York City; I turned to Jacob. “So what are you doing out so late?” He turned to me and kind of smirked looking away. “I’d rather not talk about it.” I looked at him confused. “And why not? You got me to talk about why I was out here.” He looked down and smiled. “I just needed to get away from home.” He told me. I smirked and looked up towards the night sky.
“We are here.” He said breaking me from my thoughts. I looked up to see a small apartment. “This is where you stay?” I asked. He shrugged and looked back at me. “It’s been then a bus bench.” I shrugged in agreement as we walked up to his room.
When he opened the door it looked amazing. Everything was clean and smelt like expensive body spray. It was a relief compared to Jessie’s apartment. Clothes thrown everywhere, rotten food on the table and smelt like mold and death. I smiled walking into the apartment without hesitating. Jacob slightly chuckled.
“You seem a bit happier to be here.” He examined. I took a deep breath to smell the fresh clean air. “It doesn’t smell like rat’s ass or dirty laundry.” I explained. Jacob slightly laughed more walking over to his couch looking at me. “I take it, your ex-boyfriends house?” I nodded walking over and sitting next to him. “Where am I going to be staying?”
Jacob nodded and stood back up. “Ah, yes. You see, I once had a roommate here as well and they used to live here until they moved in with their girlfriends place and tada.” He opened a bedroom door and walked in. “Yeah… So far there is just a mattress and a couple blankets but it should work for now right?” I nodded looking around the place. I shrugged a bit and looked back at him. “So what’s the catch?”
Jacob looked at me a little thrown off. “What’s what catch?” I smirked placing my hands on my hips. “Don’t play dumb, what’s the catch of me staying here?” Jacob put his hands in his pockets and shrugged. “No catch, except the fact you need to get a job to help me with rent.” I nodded in agreement. Jacob smirked. “Oh and, I get something beautiful to stare at.” He joked winking at me. I slightly roll my eyes.
We walked out of my new room back into the living room. “So where do you work at?” I asked. Jacob looked up at me. “Well on weekends I play at local areas in my band for side cash but for a real job I work at a factory as in engineer.” I smirked and thought to myself. Oh, a rock star huh? I cleared my throat and smiled fully. “Oh, that’s cool.”
Jacob shrugged. “It pays the bills, so I will not pressure you to get a job right now, but I hope you will start looking for one.” I nodded and smirked. “Do not worry, I am supposed to have a job interview sometime next week, so I should have a job here shortly.” Jacob smiled, for some reason his smile just droze me crazy.
“Oh, I don’t want you to think I am a creeper for letting you stay here. I mean… Now that I think about it, I feel like I just picked you up…” Jacob frowned a bit. “Oh? Oh! No don’t worry! I wasn’t really thinking anything like that! I just thought you were being a nice guy.”
Please!!!!! Tell me what you think

Death Angels
I sat in my room for hours. I just sit there, thinking, waiting, and staring into the white walls surrounding my rooms. Suddenly my door opens, Dr. Lazarus walks in with papers in his hands. “Good afternoon Miss Kari.” I just stare with my crimson red eyes blankly at him. “We have a scheduled practice down in the arena. So will you please follow me?” He said. I push myself away from the wall to get onto my feet and followed behind me.
The halls are cold, dark, and empty. I like the feeling of loneliness; it fills my soul with joy. As I walked the chains upon my ankles and wrists jiggle against my white clothing. I just keep my eyes focused in front of me. Dr. Lazarus stopped in front of a large black steel door. “Computer.” Dr. Lazarus called. The sounds of a computer activate.
Dr. Lazarus walked over to a blue light that formed in front of the door. The blue light embraced him. “Dr. Lazarus, science professor of vector 223, experiment Kari Hana, unit 387, proceed.” The steel doors slid open as we slowly walked into a wide room filled with chairs as if going to an entertainment center. Dr. Lazarus walked off to the side as I continued to walk into the white light in front of me
Dr. Lazarus was at a touch pad computer typing in the number “573-CH-18” coded for. “Combat mode.” The lights dimmed around me, the chains that held onto my wrists and ankles parted from me. I was set free as I stood there waiting.
A loud voice came over the intercom. “Initiating sequence 467, Kari Hana, practice stage.”
A bright light appeared before me, a black shadow fell in front of me as I swiftly glide to the side as the figure tried to punch me. The figure lifted its leg about to high kick as I moved to the right grabbing onto its ankle pulling him above the ground as my hand grew black as I struck my hand into its chest pulling out his heart.
The figure exploded as another black figure grabs onto my shoulders, tightly embracing me. I pull one arm out of its grip grabbing onto his neck; squeezing it; ripping out his vocal cords. The figure backed away gripping onto his bleeding neck. I threw the muscles down to the ground running to it. The figure looked up as I froze it in an iceberg.
The figure stood frozen in its track. Turning back to the figure I shatter the ice into pieces with just one punch. Dr. Lazarus studied me from a far. More and more dark figured surrounded me as I continued to fight my way through with ease. This is nothing to what I can do. I thought. Everyone is my enemy, and I will slaughter anyone who gets in my way.
Suddenly the steel black doors open. Dr. Lazarus turned to see Dr, Zytrat walking in with a girl about my height. Her long black hair covered over her cold ice blue eyes as she stared at him. Dr. Lazarus smirked a bit as Dr. Zytrat pushed the girl into the arena and walked over to Dr. Lazarus. Well this should be interesting. He thought.
Everything was quiet now. No more dark figures. Just a girl standing before me. The scenery turned from a white to a blood red. The girl and I just stood there staring, glaring with hate at each other. “Sequence 819, segment 458, Kari and Kumari Hana.” The computer said. Hana? I thought.
The girl’s chains vanished before me as she charged at me. I glared at her as she got closer; she threw her first punch as I glided to the left hitting her against the neck knocking her off balance. She showed no emotion as she turned to me and to my surprise; she attacked me with fire. I bent backwards dodging the hit by an inch. I looked up at her with hatred. She just stood there, her ice blue eyes glaring at me back. I stood up emotionless just waiting.
We stood there for a good few minutes, just staring, studying learning about each other with just our stares. “Well this should be good.” Dr. Zytrat smiled wildly. Finally the girl charged at me again. I smirked as she grabbed onto my neck. My eyes grew wider with excitement. She squeezed on my neck pushing me backwards. My eyes just filled with excitement and thrill.
I slapped the side of her face, as she moved to the side I grabbed her right leg throwing her up into the air. With my mind I controlled her body to slam into the back wall as she slide down the wall I slowly walked over to her. When I got to her she vanished before my eyes. I was a bit stunned. She appeared behind me grabbing the back of my neck and throwing me over her shoulder with no problem.
Quickly, I landed on my feet staring up at her. The girl slowly started to walk towards me, and in her hand I saw a guillotine sword at her side. I stood up and with my thoughts my assassin twin blades appeared in my hands. Dr. Zytrat and Dr. Lazarus were on the edge of their seats watching us closely. “This may get a little bloody.” Dr. Lazarus whispered to himself.
We stood there again, staring, learning, and trying to figure out what the other person was thinking. I gripped onto my blades and stared at her blankly. She just gazed upon me with no emotion. I smirked liking her attitude. I looked down and then back at her as I charged to her. She held her blade up over her body.
Our weapons clinked off each other as she pushed me back. I landed on my feet charging at her again. She blocked all of my attacks; I was really enjoying the challenge. I began to run towards her but she disappeared in front of me and reappeared behind me placing her blade against my throat. I smirked using mind control to pull her blade back. She struggled to hold it in place but my mind tricks were too powerful. I finally knocked her off.
She growled slightly charging at me. I smirked again as our blades pushed against each other. We stared at each other. I smirked as she looked at me with hatred. We were equally pushing off each other. We both stopped when we heard clapping. We looked up to see Dr. Zytrat clapping. “Well done girls! Well done, Miss Kari, if you will be as kind as too back away from Kumari.”
I looked over at Dr. Lazarus as he nodded to retreat. I growled slightly now backing away from her. Kumari just seized her blade to her side. I stood my ground staring at Dr. Zytrat who was now at Kumari’s side. “You two are one of the same.” I stared at him confused. Dr. Zytrat looked at Kumari and then back at me.
“Girls, I would like you two to get to know each other.” Dr. Zytrat smirked. Kumari and I turned to each other and stared at each other in hatred. “Kari, I want you to meet, Kumari… your younger sister.” Dr. Zytrat smirked a bit. Kumari and I looked back at each other with surprise. “Yep, like I said, you two are one of the same.” We just glared at each other again, staring, thinking; could this girl before me be a descended of my family?
“You girls will be rooming with each other tonight, Dr. Lazarus, is going to assign you both to a new room, so you can get to catch up in the last, seventeen to eighteen years missed.” Dr. Zytrat slightly joked. Kumari and I never took our eyes off each other just staring in confusion. Do I hate her? Or… Do I actually have to like her? I thought.
“Computer!” Dr. Zytrat called. The computer beeped in. “Transition over, the girls need a break for today.” Dr. Zytrat commanded. “Yes Dr. Zytrat.” The room surroundings changed back from red into a white color. “Now, let’s get you girls into your new room.” Dr. Zytrat smirked. The chains appeared on Kumari and I once again as Dr. Zytrat began to push us towards the door.
We met up with Dr. Lazarus at the steel door. “Dr. Lazarus will take you to your room; I have more important things to accomplish.” Dr. Zytrat bowed his head and headed off. Dr. Lazarus smiled down at us. “Now, shall we go?” He began to walk off as we followed him slowly. Kumari and I were walking quietly, I could feel her staring at me, but I tried to ignore it. Could this girl, really be my flesh and blood? Kumari thought.
Dr. Lazarus stopped by two doors that were beside each other, one had the number 733 and the other had the number 928. “These will be your new rooms. Kumari is in 733, and Kari you are in 928. Well, I must be off, good day to both of you.” Dr. Lazarus smirked and walked passed us back towards the experimental lab. Kumari and I watched him as he turned the corner.
I turned my back towards the door, as I stepped closer Kumari spoke. “Stop.” The door opened as I turned my back to look at her. “Dr. Zytrat said we would be rooming together tonight.” Kumari said. I slightly shrugged as I turned my back to her again; starting to walk into the room. Kumari growled. “I said stop damnit!” She grabbed onto my shoulder.
My hand quickly gripped onto her hand on my shoulder twisting it over my shoulder twisting it around inches away from snapping her wrist in half. “Do… Not… Touch me!” I threw off her hand as I heard her sigh slightly in relief. I walked fully into the room as the steel doors shut behind me. Kumari stood outside my door holding onto her wrist growling lowly as she starts to slowly back into her new room.
Moments later I was wrapped up in a small blanket with a book in my hand. I sat against the wall next to the window that was a black nothingness that was filled with nothing but blinking stars and other planets close by. As I continued to read my memories of home were replaying in my head, trying to see if I had any memory of Kumari.
Everything slowly became black in my head. I see nothing but I hear small cries. It wasn’t children crying or my cry. It was a women crying.
Suddenly, I see it. I see the picture. There was a body covered in blood on the ground and a woman beside me. I was just 3 years old it looked like, there was another child. I started to see the picture now. The woman crying on the floor was my mother, the body on the floor dead was my father, and the child in my mother’s arm was Kumari.
My eyes widen coming back into the white cell known as my room. Kumari is my sister. But, how did they find her? I looked down slightly as I stood up. I slightly walked to the steel door hearing something unusual. It sounded like muffles and movement. It sounded like rough moment. I made one of my blades appear by my side.
I slowly started to walk closer to the door as it swished open. I peeked around the corner. Near Kumari’s room, I see Dr. Lazarus holding onto Kumari. Kumari was struggling to get free. It looked like it was just a normal punishment to me. When we misbehave Dr. Lazarus ruled to abuse us. I was about to move back inside until I noticed his pants were lowered then normal and Kumari was half dress. He is not punishing her… He’s raping her!
Kumari was struggling trying to push him off but Dr. Lazarus has her by the collar, if she were to do anything, he could just shock her. What should I do? I thought. Should I help her? Can he hurt me if I disobeyed him? What would happen? Kumari screamed slightly as I felt the overwhelming power to attack him.
I rushed to Dr. Lazarus as my small shuriken appeared in my hands around his throat. Dr. Lazarus looked back at me. “Let her go.” I muttered. He smirked. “You can’t kill me Kari; it’s not in your nature.” I didn’t budge. “I said let her go Dr. Lazarus!” He chuckled. “Or what? You’re going to kill me and all of the scientist are going to think you’ve gone mad, and lock you up in the isolation room.” I smirked now.
“You honestly believe I would be afraid of that place? I’d rather be set into the isolation room instead of you tormenting my sister!” I shouted slightly. “Calm down Kari. You don’t want to get hurt!” Dr. Lazarus pulled out a electric controller from his pocket striking me in the stomach. I quickly let him go as I could hear him chuckle.
Kumari jumped on his back choking him with her left arm around his neck. Dr. Lazarus struggled to get the choker controller out from his other pocket, but Kumari’s grip was too tight. Dr. Lazarus slowly began to black in and out. Kumari tightened her grip on his neck to where he lost more oxygen. Shortly after, Dr. Lazarus began to spit up blood as he slowly died in Kumari’s arms.
Kumari finally dropped him to the floor looking at him. I stared at her slightly only in my own thoughts. Kumari slowly looked up at me. I nodded as if approving the death of the man who saved me. I didn’t know I had the courage to kill him, I didn’t know Kumari would be the one he went after.
In the short moment of us standing over Dr. Lazarus’s dead body, the panic alarm turned on. Kumari and I looked around at the black halls that slowly turned a blood red from the lights. We finally looked at each other. “We have to get out of here.” I said. Kumari nodded as we both began to run eastward of the ship.
Men began swarm us, as if trying to stop us. ‘This is nothing.’ I thought. ‘I fight more demons and figures in war zone then I will here.’ I chuckled. Beside me, Kumari had made her scythe appear to her side. ‘Nice, scythe’ I thought to myself making my bigger shuriken appear. I saw Kumari smile from the corner of my eye.
As the men ran towards us, Kumari and I swiftly slit throats open and decapitated heads off scientists. As we came down a dead in she looked at me. I looked side to side, and saw a small entrance. I pointed in its direction as we ran.
Down the hall stood a very tall man, beside him was a very large fat man. They smirked at us as they were looking for a fight. I looked at Kumari, as we both smirked, ready to win that fight.
Kumari had ran to the very tall man. She jumped on his shoulders wrapping her legs around his neck, squeezing his wind pipes shut. Tighening her grips around his throar, she bend downwards twisting her body. As her hands touched the ground, she spun her legs back, snapping the mans neck in two. She stood up looking at me.
I chuckled at bit. It seems me and her were trying to see who was going to have the best death. The fat man looked from me to Kumari as if wondering what we were planning. I just smiled slightly walking slowly to him. I made my Shuriken disappear and reappeared a thick katana. I smirked looking at the man. The man chuckled as if I was nothing but a joke. ‘Watch this, little sister.’ I thought
The man charged at me as I swiftly moved to his left side. I slowly stabbed a insision into his body. He shouted in pain quickly slashing his sword towards me. I bent backwards barely touching the floor as I kicked his blade out of his hands. As the blade flew up, his attention followed the sword. I smirked stabbing him dead in his vocal cord. As he began to fall backwards, I grabbed his blade and struck him in the heart. The man’s body slowly fell to the floor blood gushing through his chest.
I turned to Kumari, who slowly clapped in approval. I bowed slowly as we heard more men coming in our direction. We both turned our attention on them slightly.
The men were running fast as we just shrugged at each other. Within a blink of an eye, all of the men’s blood splattered the walls and decorated the hallways with their deceased bodies.
“Now what?” I asked Kumari. She looked around and thought. “I have to find Dr. Zytrat” I looked at her as if she was insane. “Are you kidding me?” She began to walk away from me looking for Dr. Zytrat. I jogged up to her and grabbed onto her arm. “What do you need him for? He is the one who brought you up here.” I explained. She looked back at me. “But, I feel like he was the only one who understood me.”
I turned her fully around to face me. “We killed our family, we killed them. We are murders. Demons. Freaks. There is nothing more you have to say to him.” Kumari didn’t seem to understand. She pulled away from me and growled walking away.
I sighed slightly looking around thinking deeply. I finally looked back at her. “He used you… Kumari… He used you just like he used me… We are nothing but weapons to him… To all of them. We are machines. For destruction. Nothing else.” Kumari paused. She slowly turned back to me. “What do we have left Kari….? We killed mostly everyone here.”
I smirked. “We raise hell. We take over what once was our planet. We take over the planet, and no one will ever hurt us. Or use us again.” Kumari thought for a moment, a smile slowly spread on her face. “I like it.” She paused thinking, her smile got bigger. “I like it a lot.” She walked over to me smiling as a voice called to us.
“What have you done?!?” Kumari and I turned back to look to see Dr. Zytrat stand before us. His face in complete shame and shock. He was terrified. “What did you do? Why… Why did you kill them?! Kumari! I-I don’t understand!” Kumari rolled her eyes. “Save the sob story.” She said.
Dr. Zytrat looked up at her as if completely amazed that she would act like this. “What’s…? What’s wrong with you?” Kumari smirked. “I am no longer your little puppet… I am here to take over your ship and the rest of the galaxy. Everyone in this whole universe will know our names.” She paused with an evil grin on her face. “Everyone will know. Kumari and Kari Hana!” She shouted. Dr. Zytrat was in disbelief. “You think you can win? You think the whole world will bow down to you!? You’re wrong! Everyone will come together and destroy you! Both of you! You have no idea what you are up against.”
Kumari rolled her eyes and smirked again. “Please! Stop with the crying stories! We’ve heard it all, and we have done it all. You and no one else can stop us. Not even a million people at once can stop us. We will take over this universe, and no one will get in the way of that.” Dr. Zytrat stood tall as if trying to be brave. “You’ll have to go through me…”
Kumari looked back at me and then back at Dr. Zytrat with a simple smile on her face. “Easy.” She pulled out a magnum from her arm and aimed it dead into Dr. Zytrat’s forehead and pulled the trigger. Dr.Zytrats head went backwards as his brains splattered the walls. Kumari blew the smoke out from her pistol and put it away. “No one will stop us…” We slowly began to walk away
We made our way to the emergency evacuation hall. We saw the escape ships and slowly walked inside. We started up the ship and began to take off into the nothingness of space. It was dark and full of dim stars in the distance, making our way to whatever comes in our direction.
It was a long journey before Kumari and I saw anything in our view. Until a very big blue and green surrounded by white smoke circle came into view. I looked out the window slightly amazed at how beautiful this planet was. Kumari beside me smirked and said. “Wow, what a place to make our kingdom Kari.” I looked at her. It had been so long, I had forgotten all about the real purpose of what we came here to do.
Kumari walked over to the control panel and smiled typing in the coordinates of our destination. “We should be landing soon Kari.” Kumari said with a slight joy in her voice. I nodded looking back out the window as I looked at the world before me slowly get bigger and bigger.
The ship began to rocket through the skies and moving quickly to the ground I looked back at Kumari. “What is happening?” I panicked. The alert alarm began to go off as Kumari looked at me then back at the control panel to try and stop the speed. “I don’t know! I can’t stop it!” She shouted. I looked out the window again, now seeing green everywhere. “Kumari!!” I shouted.
She growled slightly looking at me. “We are going to crash and I can’t stop it!” We both looked out the window. Kumari seemed braver then me for the first time. ‘Have I become soft only within the few months of being in this escape pod?’ I thought as I felt the metal around the ship become hot.
“Hold on!” Kumari said. We both sat in our seats strapping ourselves into the ship of death.
The Ship finally hit the ground; exploding in two. All I remember is flying off into the distance. I was in the air, I couldn’t see Kumari, and I couldn’t see the escape pod. I slowly but started to rapidly fall towards the top of big green and browns stems. I remember hitting my head as hard as possible against the hard brown object in front of me and blacked out. I don’t know how long I was out; I don’t remember how long I had been asleep. I just remember lying there having strange dreams.
Chapter One
My New Home
I had been asleep, for who knows how long. I felt something touching me, waking me up from the dark slumber I had been under. I slowly opened my eyes to see two blurry figures standing before me. I tried to look harder to see if I couldn’t make out their faces.
“Hey!” A voice said.
“Hey! Can you hear me?” the voice continued one.
“Maybe she’s deaf.” Another voice said.
Finally my vision slowly began to come back. There were two people standing before me. One was a boy with medium black hair and mix of brown and green eyes with the palest skin I had ever seen. Standing beside him was a small girl. She had dark brown hair and dark brown eyes with pale skin that was darker than the boy standing beside her.
The girl got closer to me and smiled. “Hey! I think she is finally fully awake, are you okay?” She tried. I looked around me to see if I recognize anything. But my head hurt so much I couldn’t think of a thing. I turned back to them in confusion. “Where am I?” I asked.
They both backed up as if surprised I spoke. They chuckled at each other for a minute as if amazed. “Okay, so you can understand us that’s good.” The boy asked. I sighed a bit agitated, I repeated. “Where am I?”
