Why do some people take offense if their efforts are not rated a 10? Unless they are a graphic artists, talented writer or a computer wiz on the side then it's very probably that improvement could be accomplished with proper incentive. That incentive could be not getting the 10's that everyone seems to feel owed to them.



For those who take offense at this and wish to rate me 1's, it's okay I won't mind. It won't even bother my coven since ratings are unimportant to them. It seems that too often we are holding our tongues in fear of rating reprisals or words of invective thrown at us. So be it but I have seen hateful comments left because someone failed to note the date another member signed up and god forbid bade them Welcome to this site. How terribly rude of them to not show the proper respect due to someone of such venerable stature.



Okay yes I'm being a bit of a smart ass but why take such umbrage over things that matter so very little in reality?



Will being welcomed by a newer member harm you in some way or can you not look at it with humor and some understanding that while rating profiles they may have paid more attention to what you wrote or the beautiful artwork or slick tricks you put on your profile than the date you signed up on the site?



Could you not choose to ask anyone that rates you lower than a 9 or 10, what they would recommend to make your profile better? It may not be anything that you wish to do but I have found some excellent suggestions come from this very activity.
