I've decided to start off a new year by totally cleaning my stove and other kitchen appliances. The stove was of course the toughie because I hate cleaning ovens. lol But it's all done now and looks bright and shiney. I even scrubbed the racks from the oven and got them looking good again.



Then it was onto the dishwasher which needed a good cleaning around all it's seals and then deodorizing. Got the microwave, toaster and coffee pot too. The fridge I had done right before the holidays since I would need every inch of space in it. Then I cleaned all the kitchen cabinet doors and scrubbed the counters down good.



Next up is to clean the carpets and windows but I've got some time before spring to do that so I think I'll work on the closets before doing that and I so need to get more painting done in here. I wish I could decide if I want to pain the kitchen or put up a backsplash instead. I think the paint would be much easier and probably cheaper but the backsplash would be much cooler looking and more durable and cleanable. I hate when you wash a painted wall over and over and the paint just looks so faded out.



I think my next shopping trip is going to be for bath towels though I have been looking at mine and they're looking rough with stains that won't come out and some really funky colors they have faded to now. lol
