I look around in this new era were all is brainwashed by having or owning a apple device or any thing like it. Walking around with no clue of what is happening in the real world. Always busy playing a silly stupid game or on Facebook or Instagram or roam on some sad pathetic website for some sort of fun or active energy to work your mind in what or who they get involved with. I never bother to be like those that have no life so trapped in this high teck world they have you chained and the keep teasing you with all kinds of state of the art new phone that is paid with more than a day's pay to own the latest high teck toys. Wake up people put down those phones and the urges to play with it and talk to others near by you or close to you. If, any one reads this and you see as I do than pass it onward to as many as you can it will have to reach the masses here or from beyond outside in the real world. Let us all not be a brainless zombie or a humanoid robot that cares about what is happening on their device than in this world we all live on!
Way to many lives has been taken to not paying a attention and they are not here cause of a text or playing some game or on some chat room. All lives matter there is no creed, race, color, age it can or will hit you when you never see it coming so, turn it off put it away in your pocket and go on your way in life safe. Because you only have this one life so you best need to make it count for something.

It would definitely be appreciated if they weren’t on a device when driving too

I am right there with you on the frustrations of modern technology. However, I kind of see the other side of it. Consider, for instance, people like myself....who perhaps were lucky enough to meet friends of your caliber and others all because of modern technology. Now, ideally, would I prefer to have connections such as these in person, in real life, of course! But sometimes that is not possible, due to geographical distance.
And then there is the alternative, which is speaking with people in person....Maybe I am shy, or maybe it's just introvertedness...but often I do not approach people in person unless they speak to me first, simply because most people are selfish and immature and why risk a bad outcome or reaction?
I guess if it were possible, I try to gauge people I come across in person first. And then after watching their interactions decide if I want to attempt conversation or not.
Just my thoughts.
