Yesterday was a bit hard while baking all the pies and my all time favorite chocolate cheesecake.
Having to decide today which of them I am gonna allow myself a small sliver of is gonna kill me.
But found an awesome recipe for wheat bread so gonna make wheat rolls for myself today so at least I don't have to give up my bread.
And everything else...just have to take in moderation.
oh and loving apples when I start craving sweets. :)
Yesterday I was pretty much told I need to completly change thing- food wise and excerise wise so that my pre-diabetic condition doesn't turn into full blown diabeties. My blood sugar level is the highest it can be before what is considered to be in the type 2 diabetic range.
So I have turned this section of my journal into my journey to a healthier me.
For me putting it somewhere I can read will encourage me more then anything. Well that and knowing that I am doing this so I am not sick for the rest of my life.
So here I will be putting my struggles and document how I am adjusting and changing. My mess ups and my acomplishments.
I am sure I will have days I will mess up and go off my strict diet- cause lets face it I love me my white bread and the occasional soda and sweet treat- And it's Thanksgiving :)
But it also explains a lot of what has been happening with me and me feeling sick and tired all the time.
(oh but my cholesterol is really low and so I am good there yeah!)
