It's been almost 3 weeks since Garry has made time to see me. I understand time with his daughter is important, but he's also made the time to see his friends as well.
I'm not going to sit by. A friend and a co-worker encouraged me not to "put all my eggs in one basket" so to speak, so I have a date Friday night! And it's NOT with Garry! I've been chatting over the phone with this genlteman John over the past week or so, and his personality seems much more mature and refined in his manners. He also has 3 children, but seems willing to work around their schedules to make time for our date.
Here's to being single again, having fun and wanting to be treated well and with respect! ;0)
I had my appointment at the DES (Deptartment of Economic Security) today. My food and medical benefits expired August 31st and I had to renew them. With the exception of $40.00 less a month in food money, I get to keep everything for another six months! This means a lot to me because I do NOT have to go to my X-husband for any help at the end of the month when things get tight. I had to go to him this past weekend so that Rachel and I would have food in our home....absolutely HATED to do it! God wants me to be independent, and I sure am working hard to keep things this way.
He is insanely jealous that I have Garry in my life. He also was seeing a woman named Debbie a few times. My reaction to this was RELIEF! HOORAY!! I am so over Allan and I had not an ounce of jealousy or related feelings! I could care less if he dates or not. After calling me a CUNT and WELFARE MOTHER in an angry rage a few weeks back, the only feelings generated from his ass is pain and the regret I ever met him in the first place!! If it weren't for our daughter, there would never be any contact ever again.

I think it's great that you're dating and not just waiting around for things to happen. Good luck on the date. X
