Dwelling within the shadows, with a tainted heart,

I should of kept my guard up, I knew it from the start.

The memories are rising within my brain so painfully,

how much I truly loved him, hes no longer here to see.

Thoughts of suicide and death ponder within my brain,

no more depression, darkness, or pain..

Is this life the one I wished for, or did someone wish this for me,

Whatever Ive done, I'm sorry, please just don't just let me be..

For I've lived long enough in the shadows with a broken wing,

why couldnt't you just love me, but I didnt mean a thing.

Why would you lie to me, saying you care,

but when I needed you most, you weren't there..

Now I sit in the darkness, with this broken wing,

As I call out to you for help, but you don't care, because to you I was nothing!!!!
