Ah the joys of having a boyfriend who has the cold...



he came down yesterday morning eyes watering nose blocked and sore throat that left his voice sounding like a Freddy Kruger in a bad mood, did my little lamb try for some sympathy? no instead rasped: Bumpy *his pet name for me* could you make me some strong coffee?



before falling sideways off the breakfast bar stool and turned green, after marching him back upstairs to bed *under much protest* I told his boss he needed a few days off cause he was loaded with cold.





the sweet germ phobic that she is almost threw a fit, not because he need some time off but because he had been in her car last night coming home from a works do... ah well at least she give two weeks just to make sure she could not catch the plague. xD





when I brought him up a cuppa of coffee bless him he was flat out, arms flung out like he was about to catch the ball for the world cup.





Much later on when he came down stairs noes running like a tap and bleary eyed we shared a smooch, after throwing out his wad of snotty tissues and stuffing a spoon of medicine in his gob he said:you know you might catch my cold don't you? to which I answered a la tv shampoo add style: your worth it.



shame really because he missed that bit as he fell back asleep, true love eh? .
