I just got done reading two Science Fiction books, Glasshouse by Charles Stross and Rainbows End by Vernor Vinge.



The first is a good book simply because of the story, the writing style isn't exactly what I would normally praise but the main drive behind the story is good.



The second book however is both well written and contains a well thought out story as well as bringing the internet of the future into the mix. This book paints such a realistic picture of San Diego 2025 I would recommend it to anyone interested in Hard Science Fiction or just basic Sci-Fi.

I also got a copy of the new Batman : Arkham Asylum game so that is also making me busy, in between being busy that is.

Ok, so the last few weeks/days have been very busy.



Mostly this was due to Flannery starting college today with last week being her introduction week.



Last week I went in with her and waited around to go home with her so as to let her get used to the bus routes and stops etc... So today is the first day she is going in on her own.



I was also having to attend a wedding the last two days, my cousin was getting hitched.



Before that me and Flan had to go to Germany so as to get her to pass through customs as a student and enter the country proper and not as an illegal immigrant.



And before that I was having to fill out all kinds of forms and applications etc…..



Plus there is the now daily routine of looking for and applying for jobs, thanks for that one bush.
