It is a pet peeve. I just want the sites rating system to be used in such a way as it makes sense. I am so tired of empty profiles with a 9.8 rating and someone who put a lot of effort into their own profile having a 9.3 because they pissed off some douche with 8 profiles who decided to bomb their profile.

Harmonious rating pollution.

The truth is you and all the really high up get 10's across the board because they are scared that you will retaliate against them and they will either get blocked or boom barded with 1's when newbies get on here they usually get warned about who to not mess with or At least I was and you were one of them.

I know that is part of it, just sometimes I wish people showed a little backbone.

It's funny that people rate the admins highly because they fear retaliation, when admins are the least likely to do something that petty.

It's an admirable trait from my view. It's better to be honest and blunt about it than make someone think they're more than what they actually are. I'm nice usually but I can be a dick when someone pushes me that far.

Your opinion obviously doesn't matter to them. That's why they messaged you about it.

Too many on the site think that a few words or a picture or 2 deserve a 10. The older members of the site are not here to cater to the egos of others, no matter how highly they think of themselves. Content is what I use to judge high ratings, not the fear that someone may not like the rating they get. I'll rate a Sire a 1 if their content was lacking as much as a level 1 would get one.

I suppose this person probably got a lot of 10's and thought that was the way it worked - give 10's just to "be polite." Probably seemed harsh to him/her to suddenly see a really low score.

Personally, I always ran even after the warning shots were fired.

When I signed up it was pretty bad, morons were messaging me asking me to 'turn them'. I ignored the messages then, now I just cemetery them after visiting their profiles to rate a 1. We have a database for a reason, but who's to say they can actually read anyhow? :)
