"The House that isn't Home"04:16 Oct 11 2010

In a world of poverty, hunger, and hate
In a home tattered and torn
There lives a girl who wears a mask
So none will see her expression forlorn
Her eyes are guarded her fears pronounced
Her smile is broken you see just an ounce
the depression bringing suicidal thoughts
she pushes them down they have to be fought
she goes to school everyday
she horses around and forgets her pain
you wouldnt guess at the scars she hides
locked deep within her mind
feeling abandoned, broken,alone
she sheds the tears that shouldnt be shown and
longs for escape...
from the house that isnt home
