Day after tomorrow I go to see if I will have sponsorship for my move. If things go caput, I will be going down to Buffalo to see if there is a place there that I can "set up shop" while I wait for my immigration status to be approved.



I'm almost to the fork in the road. The one where things stay as they were, or the one that leads somewhere that I can only imagine.

I ADORE fashion, but I hate what it does to people. I hate that now the models are chosen to "not take away from the clothes". When did we stop making clothes that people can wear.



A few select designers have done "target shows" that were modeled only by real women, Betsy Johnson being one of those designers. When clothes are art- FINE it is easier with a stick model. But I don't think most fashion these days is about art. It's about sales, and people wanting to wear them... so here's a thought... make them for people.



Just found this photo by Sebastion John of the AP- and really this woman is BEAUTIFUL. Perfect in her own way, not in our "Americanized stick figure manner".
