Forgive me Father, for I have sinned.
These amethyst eyes cry crimson.
I've fallen through the hole in the Earth
And met Satan at his hearth.
My last breath didn't set me free.
Now death has become me.
My heart is choked by barbed veins that it adorns,
But can not compare with the ones I've torn.
I walk alone in the midnight hour.
Before the cross, I cower.
This vessel is powered by black lies.
I've already crossed my heart and hoped to die.
You I shall always follow,
For I am the Last Shadow.
This is my disease
That'll spread because I won't decease.
I hear the Whisper Willows.
Come. Come...Come. Come...
Come listen and sleep some.
Their smooth, black bark
Is beautiful in the light or dark.
I hear the Whisper Willows.
Come. Come...Come lay down
In a coquette crown.
Long lived leaves all brown and dead
Create a bidding bed.
I hear the Whisper Willows.
Come. Come...Come sleep long
And listen to our fey song.
I abide and slip into sleep.
Now all the leaves are crimson, through and deep.
I look up to the sun
And it glares back at me.
The blazing brightness blinds me
As the ultra violet waves wrap
Warmth around me.
Oranges, reds, and yellows.
I walk away and it follows.
