Anyone here ever tried to quit smoking? And Succeeded? I'm going cold turkey on the first and I know it won't be easy but I've no choice now. I've run out of time and it scares the crap out of me. Mood swings and withdrawal is said to be a bitch. Well...Bring it on because I'm ready to kick this bitches ass.

yes, just keep at it one minute at a time. It is worth it.

I used Chantix but the side effects were terrible. It worked but I don't recommend it. Stay strong and good luck.

1 year, 9 months so far. I also stopped cold turkey. The first week my nerves were on edge, but it tapered off over the next couple of weeks...and now I can't even remember the last time I actually wanted to smoke. I used the Smoke Free app, free version, because collecting the badges was motivating for me.

I've recently quit smoking and it has been two months since I've had a cigarette, I did it by using these little nicotine pouches you put in your mouth and absorb the nicotine, they're called "on".

Good luck. My dad is currently in the hospital, intubated from COPD and Congestive Heart Failure. A few days before he went to the hospital, I could hear him smoking. He was on oxygen at the time. If you need support, I am definitely here for you!

Sorry for the late reply, I quit three years ago.
I tried numerous times but never succeeded. I got a script for chantix, and it worked but I dunno that I can advise anyone to use it… the “thoughts of suicide” side effect was no joke.
