Well lets see....where to start?

My dad is FINALLY home after going back into the hospital for a week for some infection that they never found ::rolls eyes::...he's on his way to recovery. I know that lots of his memory is gone for good....but he continuously amazes me with how fast he's getting back into the swing of things. The doctors told him that he can never drive again....but he's determined to prove them wrong....he's busting his balls to get to that point and we are all behind him 100%.

What else?

I finally got my tonsils out after 10 times of having tonsillitus this year alone. I found out that I'm the slowest healer on the face of the Earth though. Recovery is only supposed to be like 2 weeks....the first 24-36 hours its natural to throw up as the anesthetic wears off your body. Whereas me....i threw up for the first week....everything i tried to eat wouldn't stay down...consequently losing 26 pounds in a week...which i guess under the circumstances is really bad....but i look fucking hot now hehe. My throat still hurts like hell...i still can't eat anything but soup. It hurts to swallow....which i'm thinking that's not normal after 2 1/2 weeks. I'm thinking of calling the doctor and asking him...::shrugs::

On to happier news....

Mike and I are doing better than ever. He's so involved with my family...it's amazing. I feel bad for my sisters husband (also named Mike) because he's kinda boring and tries to act smarter than us and you can't hold a conversation with this man at all. Whereas my Mike....my family loves. He's sarcastic and funny and he's not afraid to cut people down (in a fun way) and my family loves that about him...and I think my sisters Mike knows that everyone likes my Mike more....you can tell he gets kinda jealous sometimes. Oh well....I gots the best man ever hehe...and I'm damn proud of it!

What to tell you guys?

My life is peachy at the moment.

My dad is finally home after 2 months of being in the hospital. It feels great knowing that we can start getting our life back together...even though Dad's never going to be the same ever again....but he's gonna get close. Other aspects of my life right now.....

1) School is going great this year...lots of easy classes woo.

2) I was invited to play lead guitar with a joliet-based rock/metal band (Face First).

3) My boyfriend Mike is amazing. He's been so supportive during the past couple months. He even took like a week off work to help my family remodel our house and just to be with me. God I love him. He's all i could ever ask for.

4) I'm finally happy.
