Between layers of pain and extacy she found her soul Too young to feel old Too old to be bold Her baren spirit spawning seeds aplenty Seeds of love and seeds of hate Being both hollowed and repibate Lost in waves of joy Lost in waves of despair Drowning in the very air that sustains her On the surface all is well Beneath the calm all is hell Her peaceful smile seeming like a balm The deceptive calm remains while beneath a storm howls on Winds batter her furiously as blown rose petals carress her Nothing being as it seems She says a happy hello While inside she screams goodbye. |
The day she left was not out of the ordinary
The day she left was not a bit scary
She walked across the floor and out the door
Without a trace or sound.
No one knew she was leaving, no one seemed to
care
They all assumed she would be back because she was always there.
Through fits and screams, she pulled them through
She always tried her best
Finally though she realized it was her time to rest.
One final argument she had lost was all it really took
Then no one saw the agony that made this girl a spook
Her spirit lingers around here, but she doesn't try to save them
Because she learned that day, that fateful day
There is no help from the grave.
