Time leaves no stone unturned and as it passes we sometimes look back at the years that have passed us by . We see mistakes made and those that have meant so much to us in the past . In the passing of someone that means so much to us we look at the things we wish we had done differently . I now am facing that painful trip through time and I see the moments lost to it . The missed fishing trips , hunting , sitting on the porch swinging on a warm summer day . The words of wisdom that you always gave me . You made me the man I am and saved me so many times that I could never repay the kindness and unconditional love you always gave me . You never let me down and was always there for me even when noone else would be . You showed me that a man is only as good as his word and you were the best man I ever knew . May god take you into his arms on your journey as you did me so many times in my hours of need . The world will never be the same for me without you and these tears that stain my cheeks will always remind me of that day that you said goodbye and left us to find peace from your suffering .
