I’ve noticed. It’s weaker; the will to live. The will we once all shared is withered down to bone. The time to fight had never passed. The reasons; the unsightly objectives to fight have become more pointless than ever. And the unwillingness to carry out the operation our humanity needs to survive is growing stronger. To think of a country without war, without the strength for combat is unheard of in our time. To live a life in peace is an impossible dream. For now, and almost certainly many years to come, is a time of hate. And this hate is a burden, one we must all bare. Still there are few that rise above the standards of humanity. Those are the ones that defy perfection and define a life with purpose. The rare spark that keeps the flame of being, alive, and helps us see what it means to have a will to live. A will to show the very characteristics that had made us whole in the beginning…But that’s me.
