The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

So its the day after Black Friday- customers become so rude- I, in fact was complaining about it to Dan.. and he said, "Tis the season to being jerks." So ironic.. as I put in the other entry- "Don't forget why- Yule/Christmas, etc etc etc." Tis the season.. its supposed to be goodwill, and love and cheerful other crap- yet, its the complete opposite. Oh wells..



So.. another stupid thing I heard today... as mentioned, I sell calendars... I overheard a couple as they were walking by my stall.. "I'll never find that calendar." So I approach and ask, "Is there a calendar I can help you find?" She looks at me and says, "No," and walks away.



Well then, I just know where 100% of my calendars are.. and where they are all stocked, if in stock. She must know better then I.. pfft

If any of you decide to be adventurous and shop on that day.. please.. please remember why. It's for Christmas/Yule/Kwanzaa/Hanukkah/etc. You know, tis the season and all that jazz?



Please be kind to others... ESPECIALLY the employees. We CAN'T control the lines, CAN'T control the stock, CAN'T control what's on sale and what isn't, and CAN'T control technical difficulties.



If you find yourself getting upset or angry? Go home... and come shop another day. Who really needs that extra sweater?



Or heck, go take a smoke... go get a cup of coffee... or walk away for a little bit- if and when you come back, if the sweater's gone- it wasn't meant to be yours anyways. There's always another sweater around the corner.. or the next store.

So, I work in retail (I sell calendars).. there are times when I overhear things that just make me cringe.. some ignorant, some just stupid, and some just so out there.. all I can do is nod and smile-cause though not the best job, I'd like to still keep it.



Top of the list for this week...



There was an older woman who came by on her little scooter. She saw that we had a calendar of the infamous James Dean.



"You know," she said matter-of-factly, "James Dean, had he not died, would be my age. 76."



I smile, and nod.



"These young girls these days.. still drool over him. They need to just get over him and find someone their own age."



My smile falters a little, but I smile and nod.



She smiles at me and zooms off...



Like, uh.. yea.. ok. Moving on.. lol
