Life is a ball
So welcome, please come in
Make sure you wear your mask
All you women, all you men
Here at this masquerade
There is dancing, there is life
But do not be fooled, under each mask
Is a mind full of pain and a mind full of strife
Secret battles are waging
Hiding beneath the disguise
And soon this refuge
Will be your demise
No one sees who you are
Or who you can be
Underneath what you're wearing
Into darkness do you flee
Soon the mask is overwhelming
You are fooled too
You believe it's who you are
There's nothing else to do
Your life is no longer your own
It becomes something new
You're someone else completely
Obscuring even your view

So thats's what this one has so far, let her know what you think and maybe even suggestions on where it should lead to
Sad, lonely eyes
Empty, pain-filled voice
Broken from so many lies
Can't make a choice
Lips barely breathing
To hard to think
Not really believing
Knows she will sink
Just like a rose
Beautiful and vain
She holds you close
No matter the pain
Yet you turn away
Leave her crying and alone
There's nothing I can say
For you are all she's known
You cannot see it
You choose not to look
You say she'll never fit
It's not a faery tale book
She begs you not to go
She says you are her prince
You don't listen and say no
You have been like that ever since
It used to be different
In the past the roles were switched
But this time it's you that has went
And left her completely ditched
Over a single mistake she made
Compared to your repeated one
Yours seemed tp fade
While hers couldn't run
At least she won't repeat it
Though you always do
You may have taken a hit
But she has taken two
You toy with how she's feeling
Constantly with no end
What she needs is to be healing
But with you she can only pretend
Pretend she's alright
Pretend she can handle it all
But look at this sight
You made her fall
Who will pick her off the groumd
She won't let it be me
It's you to whom she's bound
All her faith is in thee
But you don't hear
And you don't care
You don't see a tear
You don't dare
So stop making it harder
Taking her hopes and tearing the apart
You're just committing murder
Of her innocent, child-like heart
