What the hell is true love anyway? Does anyone really know? For me I don't think there is a true love that you just meet and know they are the one. I think there may be an initial attraction but then that is all that is until you learn about the other person and develop feelings for them over time. Some times I think it is even possible for you to not even like the person who will turn out to be your true love because you don't enough about that person to really understand the way they do things or see things. It was once said that love is blind therefore is the winged cupid painted without eyes. I don't think this is a good way to look at it. Lust has no eyes you go into somethings only seeing what you want to not seeing the faults that can and usually do get you into trouble or make you miserable you have to go into love with your eyes open seeing the faults of the one you are interested in and deciding if you can live with the faults that you see if you can then yes that person is the one for you but if you look at them and think that is going to annoy the hell out of me then that person is not going to last long in your life. I think it is being able to see everything and saying to yourself the faults are there but no worse then the ones I have and I kinda think their little idiosyncrasies are cute I can live with that and not see a problem. To many people look for the quick fix the love at first sight but have to realize that is just attraction love is developed and grow and nurtured. One of these days I think I am going to have that type of love but so many times I feel that it does not seem possible having had so many bad mistakes in my life.
