Notes: I’m not a lesbian haha, this originally began as a joke but grew into a poem. Basically it’s about someone who is so in love with Carol Ann Duffy so is sorta dreaming about their life with her when meeting her. Free Form.
She’s a woman and so am I.
I lay back in a sea of my lovely Ms Duffy.
Does she love me? Yeah maybe.
I’m her Brighton born baby,
and lately Caz’s words are driving me crazy.
We meet for coffee.
Crazy like insane, here I am in the rain.
With you, naturally.
Waiting for a sign and a man named Polo.
I’ve got an umbrella and my very last rolo.
Sure, you can look at my notebook.
Give it away? You must be mad.
I’ve got some chocolate and there’s fun to be had.
Caz will get the dinner on and Ella will sing for us.
Peter will be sorry that he ever made a fuss.
She’s looking, oh hell.
Love’s such a strong word, don’t abuse it.
I love you Carol Ann and so I use it.
Ask Ella, she’ll tell you. I’m your number one fan.
We could be so happy darling, who needs a bloody man?
Why the hell am I thinking this?
Carol Ann has a way with words,
she often makes me cry.
I sit by the fire with my only desire,
it’s a sin to tell a lie.
Oh god, I love her.
Gay is great, why should I conform?
What is so fantastic about this so called norm?
Me and Caz have a special kind of love.
Maybe baby, but when push comes to shove..I’m bi.
Bye bye baby, baby bye bye.
Wake up darling from your dreaming, I’ll be by your side.
Mother is waiting, slowly debating, wishing she had died.
Missing her princess, conversation may digress, but you’re always on my mind.
I’ll stay awake, I’ll make a wish, for a prince to rescue you with a kiss.
He’ll bring you home to me. Your return will set me free.
Notes: A little something I wrote about me and my fella, who technically isn't my fella... damn.
What do you do with a broken dolly?
Patch up her wounds and say you’re sorry?
What do you do when all you do is atone?
You patch up your dolly and you bring her back home.
Dolly mixture, loved and fixed her.
Sugar sweet, my only fixture.
The only one I ever knew, the only one who dragged me through,
until I broke her, until she stopped,
now I drown in bubblegum pop.
Pop. There goes another bubble.
