Such is love
So pull me through the briars, blood roses lick with thorn,
Give me nothing good, and show me no remorse,
Pull all hairs from my groin, with teeth like razor blades,
Tare at my eyelids, that I will see know pain,
Defile all my existence, create acidic memories,
Wrap the wounded flesh, with nettle and needles,
Pull me from my sleep, boiling water and sharpened chains,
Beat me when I speak, rip thy tongue from thee,
Leave me nothing but all blackened, bruised torn will,
Conscious and subconscious, I cringe that I exist,
Call the drunken pirates; serve me to the sea,
Free my limbs from body, the spider and the children.
Don’t leave me here discarded, for I yearn the way you feel,
Treachery’s the devil, if I haven’t your embrace,
Love what you’ve created, this decrepit inhuman thing,
All that you’ve put in me, all I can’t escape.
SUCH IS LOVE

you do have a way with words and this is a very well thought out poem with a very wonderful description to go with it

Perfect words for such an imperfect emotion.
