I have a friend due in the UK this weekend. To say something feels wrong with this visit may sound a little harsh and selfish of me.

I feel as it’s coupled with her birthday she has tied my hands in what I would like to do and what I would normally buy and do for any friend.

She is coming with her partner and I will now take a back seat and hope she has a great time. I would hate to buy or do something that would possibly be out of place or even inappropriate nowadays.

She happens to be one of the most loving and sensitive people I know or have known. I feel because of her statue and happy exterior no one gets to see her pain and woes. She is happiest when doing things for others, totally selfless. She craves loving and understanding even thou to some she really isn’t that complicated. She is loved by me and has my total respect.
