A Mother

I've got to that age where my daughter is now helping me understand how to send stuff with my mobile(cell) phone. Or is it that it's 'she' who has come to that age!!!

I can still recall my daughters aspirations from a few years back.

She started out wanting to be a doctor, kids love the idea of helping people. Then she wanted to be a cleaner, then a singer then back to a doctor.

Yesterday she announced that she would be happy just being a mother! lol

I told her that she has chosen one of the hardest things a woman can do. I'm sure one day she will rise to the challenge as she is just so full of love.

At her party last week she wanted the theme to be Gothic. This gave her an excuse to ask mum if she could wear make-up!! The beads were her idea and really worked well.

These were taken whilst we were still setting up the hall..!

I’m off out to visit a real vampire, that’s right it’s ‘blood test’ day and my friendly vamp (phlebotomist) won’t wait. I just hope she doesn't say ''You're gonna feel a small prick''....!!

Today is also my daughters ‘real’ birthday. With the joint parties and disco’s and her own little party with the family last weekend (she has been so spoilt) it has finally arrived.

I will be going over there for dinner but as it's a school day it won't be a late one.

Eleven … I still can’t believe it! But with her on my mind it should distract me somewhat from thinking about the fangs or is it 'needles' ..!!!!!!!

I know that our ages are just numbers, but hunni, there are 24 other numbers between us and YES it does bother me.

I’m not looking to argue with you and I’m sorry if I’ve upset you in any way … but that is how it is.

Please help; VR has gone and confused me again….

I want to order a T-shirt from the VR store for my daughter but I’m unsure what size to order.

The store doesn’t give a guide to sizes only S. M. L; am I to assume the sizes are for adults, in which case I’ll order a small?

If anyone reads this and has ordered a ladies T-shirt and could advise, I’d be grateful.
