pink butterflies pass me by

and I know the angels keep you safe

and I think of your smile so wide

as they teach you warmth and grace



in my heart I know your happy playing

but it isn’t meant to be

I can’t help feeling

angry see?



I know why I’m angry baby

because they took you so soon

so I’ll keep on waiting little lady

and looking at the moon



soon my feelings will be calm

but I shall never forget your smile

or you charm

it will just take a little while



one day I shall find you at those gates

with sparkles and butterflies in you hair

and I shall forget about my hates

and the rest of time, we shall share



I love you Lexi-eva

from now, until the stars don’t shine

so that’s forever

and that’s how long you’ll stay in that heart of mine

There sits a girl with the broken smile

Wanting to run a mile

Broken and beaten on the inside

But with no where to hide



Sitting in the corner she cries

Inside she dies

Away from the pain

Is she going insane?



Ripping out her heart

Pretending there is no hurt

With that broken smile

People keep doing it all the while.

Cant escape the broken bone pile

Broken and beaten on the outside

Cant find a place to hide



Used and abused its all the same

Each without shame

Everyone does it

No one gives a shit



Mentally gone

Where did life go wrong?

She cant take the pain

Its driving her insane



Lies and false faces

Taking her through paces

They gave her the smile that broke

Too much hurt she starts to choke





There lays the girl with the broken smile

You see her wrists bleeding

Because her heart is broken
