Since True Blood will have only one more season and only 1o episodes like this last season, I am curious to see if they follow the books as far as Sookie is concerned. I see many want her back with Bill or to end up a vampire...etc. etc. etc. In the books, the author had Sookie end up with Sam. I was bowled over myself because it doesn't fit with the series and felt that maybe they were setting that scenario up to happen by the segue Sookie had with Sam during this last season that just ended. I find it to be the odd couple but oh well. The author thought it was the right ending but many and I mean many of her fans went ballistic.
Some of this may be the fault of the fans. I could be wrong but many went over the top when they thought they had killed the Eric character off. I heard that death threats were made. This may have been why they decided given the many years that the series had been on, the aging of actors playing immortals and many factors, that it was time to call it a day. Like many of the fans, when this ends I will probably cancel HBO. That was the only reason I kept it because I don't really like any of the other series and as far as movies I have Netflex and can get them from Redbox. I would only keep it or get it later down the road if they came up with some other great series. I got tired of Game of Thrones after a short time. It was always about killing and I just didn't find it interesting. My only interest lies with the lady and her dragons and they don't show her much. I would rather read the books. If they come up with another show that falls under scifi/fantasy or horror they might keep some of the people and if not, I see many who are saying they will cancel HBO.

The final this last episode reminded me of Return of the King. "Oh, that's it, no wait, there's another scene. Ok, now it's over. No, another scene...." I am wondering if Tara's mother was poisoning her.
Warlow....what a waste. He was built up last season as some kind of super powerful evil vampire. Then for most of this season it was "no, I'm really decent, I hate what I am and what I've done and I wanted to protect you" then about face to "rawr! evil!" He came across more emo than evil... I know there is no way Eric's dead, just a bit crispy. I was....amused by Jason's new relationship. I also keep veering between liking his 'owner' and thinking she's kind of psycho stalkerish but in an annoying way. (to watch I mean.)
The rest I didn't care about. Sookie and Alcide? Sure. Sam as Mayor? kind of cool but why did he sell his bar? It's not like he's mayor for life!
