It's hard for me to be here for long periods of time. My ezine was being closed because of lack of activity. Whose? Mine because I have so many side issues going on besides everything at home. Then the vampire community. I have sort of watched rather than say much. It is the same old types of topics being discussed. No amount of discussion will fix a lot of things. It surprises me who some people think are this or that. There is definitely a sense of elitism. At least that is evident by certain things I read and see. I can't go into details. I just get frustrated on certain levels. I use to jump head long into things but not anymore. I wanted to meet everyone I talked to frequently and I did meet some. I'm not interested in social gatherings. I did that with the spiritualists for years. I hosted all sorts of things and worked on projects hosted by others. I'm burned out on things like that and especially in the area of beliefs.



People everywhere are so worried about drama. I find it amusing. Disagreement is human nature and when one tries to suppress it I don't think it's healthy. Now I'm not talking about name calling. I hate the profanity that seems to be involved with that and the blantant lack of manners posting it so blithely. I don't want to hear it or see it written. If individuals want to act like thugs so be it but do it in the privacy of your offline world. Not someplace that is supposed to be fun. Well enough of that other than to say, issues never change and I plainly get tired of them. I have to spend time working on the zine or all the hours I spent collecting materials, writing articles, etc will be lost.

Back to the movie theater thing. It is already happening. On Demand they have various movies up for basically 10 dollars. You can watch them prior to release in the theaters. This is the argument. The theaters are having a hard enough time surviving and the movie industry does this? I would suspect in the near future you will find them only in highly populated areas and the rest will close down.

Sooo, the movie industry is in a stand-off with the theater industry. I only know because one of my daughters works in management in a theater. Regal and AMC merged but now they might close every theater they own. They aren't doing well and you know why? THE INTERNET and people waiting until they get into Red Box or some other place.



The movie industry is saying they are going to move into Demand TV, you know like HBO etc. The theaters are saying if they do that they will not show any movie they put in demand in their theaters and they won't show their trailers, ads, etc. in their theaters. Wonder what will happen? Those who pirate movies will be out of a job if they close the theaters. Possibly overseas it will stay status quo, who knows. The theaters went digital anyway and soon everything will be automated coming from servers. Many people will be out of jobs.



I had to get my computer fixed. Just programs and other silliness off the net mostly but enough it was messing it up. What I have couldn't fix it. It needed to be done manually. I get this insurance for a year for fixes and the company is in MD. Guess where the techs are??? New Delhi, India. I blatantly said when I found out, "Oh another place that has farmed out our jobs." Not their fault I know but...it shouldn't be allowed or the companies should be taxed up the butt. They are capable of starting their own businesses themselves in India. The tech was very nice...heh, he put up with me but it took them two hours rather than the 45 minutes he quoted. It was a mess, lol. Honestly I didn't do it, it happened. I have all the recommended things for keeping my computer safe but I'm not a tech...simple as that.
