The true origin of The Shadow Empress is unknown.
Many stories, myths and what is written about her
in ancient texts is all there is to go on.
What is known is this.
She controls a vast Empire that reaches into the darkest shadows of Rome. A very different Rome, one of the 5th dimension.
By using her knowledge of the Quantum Physics, she built her new Empire in a parallel universe. One that is filled with shadows and creatures that emerged from a drop of blood that she spilled in the floor; A parallel universe of Roman Domination under the control of one woman… Her…
She is worshipped more than any God, and the people of Rome adore her. She is also worshipped in the Underworld and it’s said that she has had many battles over the control of Hell. Rumored to be the daughter of Jupiter and of no less than that of Caesar's blood.
Her dominions are that of fanatics and speak her special language.
She never seems to age and has been around for as long as any ancient text can recall.
Known as the Killer of Gods, Spider Queen and the Imperial Queen of Rome, The Empress has great beauty and charisma but is also very cunning and suspicious of friend and foe alike.
As special rewards/trophies, she will give certain members gifts such as a piece of the cross or nails used in the crucifixion of Christ.
She is said to always wear a Great Imperial Mask and very rarely takes it off. She is very fond of tea, singing and her own poetry.
Her voice is very enchanting and can tame a God, she sings a lot when she is happy. Some say her eyes glow blue because of this tea spice that she drinks. Those close to her and those who make her tea only know this spice, and she is always in high demand of it.
A lover of the games and always present when they are held. She never makes the people pay to see the games; it is her gift to those in the Empire.
Consorts, slaves and Praetorian Guards constantly surround the Shadow Queen, and only takes advise from her very own shadow.
She is a narcissist, and she’s full of vanity, and has many mirrors, paintings and sculptures around her to prove that.
Full of pride and always demanding more, whether it be in the form of tribute, worship, or just plain world domination.
When angry her wrath can be cruel and merciless.
Texts tell of The Medusa being her creation.
Medusa was once a beautiful maiden whose hair was her chief glory,
but as she dared to vie in beauty with the Empress, The Goddess deprived her of her charms and changed her beautiful ringlets into hissing serpents. She became a cruel monster of so frightening aspect that no creature could behold her without being turned into stone.
Empress is very cruel and manipulative to those that she dislikes, but very calm and loyal to those that she holds dear to her. It is always good to get on her good side and stay on it, for she is a true killer queen.
When she goes into battle she is always with her Imperial Praetorian Guard. She rides a white warhorse (white horses are not allowed to be used by anyone else in the Empire) that is armored in Jet-black Shadow Dragonmail and draped over with the Imperial flag of the Empire.
The Empress herself also wears the Jet-black Shadow Dragonmail and uses a short-sword that glows with an eerie blue light.
Her fighting skills are amazing and her military awareness and strategical genius ability is matched by no one.
She wears a special War Mask (different from the Imperial Mask) and never takes it off when in war; the mask inspires her troops and moral over flows for all within her legion.
She is obsessed with parallel universes, time travel and advanced technology; with this power she will surely destroy all that is known.
One day the heavens shall only show one constellation…
