Ok, what is with the people getting all upset because their thread got closed? I can understand being a little upset, especially if it's something that you really wanted to get peoples opinions on, but starting a screaming match in the forums is in no way going to solve anything. It will only make you look like an ass.



Now, I will admit that there are a couple threads here and there that I don't quite understand why they were closed, but I'm sure there's probably a rule somewhere that I managed to miss. Stuff happens. But I do think a little bit more leniency could be shown to newer members who haven't been here to see some of the older threads. I'll admit it, I won't look at a thread that has more than 100-200 page views because it means that it's been posted on nearly that many times. That's just a huge amount to read and it shouldn't be expected of anyone to read all of that for a small question they might've had.



Anyway, back to the original rant, getting pissed off because a thread got closed is beyond stupid. Not to mention creating multiple threads that will also get closed just adds to the stupidity. That's at least two members within the past month or so that have gone completely postal over such a small issue. Why is that thread so important? What could there possibly be in that thread to warrent you getting suspended for?



That's something that I'm really curious about. If you think you know people get in such a fit over it, please feel free to message me with your answer. I can't wait to see them.

I'm really upset right now. My baby rabbits that I was taking care of died today, and I have no idea why. They were doing great, I thought they would be fine. They were fine at nine this morning, but when I checked on them at noon, they were lathargic and unresponsive. I don't understand why they did that. The first one died while I was holding it, and the other died two hours later.



I've dug far too many graves in my life.

Well, let's just get all pissy about what people write in their profiles. It is THEIR profile, afterall. Delphanious asked that people with tattoos, piercings, essentially anyone different that they don't comment or rate him, as well as don't comment unless you have something original or unique to say that he will message you back with. Fine, that's his perogative. If you do happen to leave a comment that pisses him off, the worst he'll be able to do is block you, and that is no one's loss but his own.



Now, I may not agree with what this guy has put, but it is not anyone's place besides Cancer's to tell him to change it and his attitude or leave. Personally, I wonder why the guy even joined the site in the first place. As near as I can tell, every person on this site has a least one or two of the items on the impurity list at the top of his profile.



Anyway, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting tired of all the stupid stuff going on because of profiles. Fighting and having a pissing contest over the contents of a profile is assinine. Come on people, we're supposed to be smart and sophisticated here. Read em, rate em, leave a comment or don't as you see fit, simple as that. Stop the madness.
