The Black Valley

The black valley that looms before me
I saw once before
It's depth of sand and visual grand
Usurped my soul, and my heart collapsed
Forever
I run, step by step, I seek the moon
In a black valley of the flowers that died
last year in a plague of tears.
Their fragrance shall haunt me till I die.
I stop and gaze into yander
The dunes of blackest sand
My soul becomes the dead
I grip my pain with both hands
this land belongs to shadow, this land has disappeared, Forever in the depths of darkness, I have lived and I have feared.
I step into The black Valley, Roses rotting at my feet, I gaze into the nothing, the storm that looms so near, I gaze into nothing, and the sounds I begin to hear.
Sounds of distant echoes, sounds of distant past. I begin to halucinate, I retract.
The black valley...The valley of the dead.
My home...my wish, My hope, to touch the angels,to touch the clouds, to weep within the ages and the stars abound.
I see a castle, clearer by the second, it beckons with it's light. I cannot help but walk...I cannot help but yurn for it's stone. I run, I cannot help but dream, I cannot help but smile, for warmth and safety from the pain. It's doors open wide and I leap inside....Caressing it's light eternally.
