Come the evening, I finished watching ‘Elementary’, which I’d wanted to hate. The BBC update I can hack, as although it’s updated, it still has all the essential elements of Holmes, the address, the housekeeper and even the characters in his whole; all-in-all, it’s a clever well-written, very stylish show. This American show, with Holmes as a lead character with Lucy Lieu, who I adore was ‘just another’ procedural cop show, but the two leads were well-written and, Joan Watson proved the match to the intelligence to Holmes that Watson was never shown to have. I liked that. I also liked the was that both shows illustrate well, how grey the world can seem to someone with a manic mind…
This is the wettest \summer for decades. Floods are commonplace and, yet again, the rain has fallen for days on end.
The polar caps are melting. The jetstream is going to be redirected and, one has to wonder, what will happen next? Will the rains last for two weeks, two months, or even perhaps two years?
Has Man finally done enough damage to the Earth with Global warming? Have we come to the edge of the precipice, at last?

I’ve just watched a ts of resident evil retribution. GREAT FILM! And, although normally I will not watch a film that isn’t proper quality, I'd so wanted to see how they brought Michelle Rodriguez back and, wtf happened at the end of the last: hence watching a ts of it.

Beverly Craven plays, as it pours down outside. I have finished a letter to the folks at home as I can hear melodic tones and, see soft imagery of another time and, another Beverly.

You light up another cigarette
And I pour the wine
It’s four o’clock in the morning
And it’s starting to get light
Now I’m right where I want to be
Losing track of time
But I wish that it was still last night
You look like you’re in another world
And I can read your mind
How can you be so far away
Lying by my side?
When I go away I’ll miss you
And I will be thinking of you
Every night and day.
Just…
Promise me
You’ll wait for me,
‘Coz I’ll be saving all my love for you
And I will be home soon…
Promise me
You’ll wait for me
I need to know you feel the same way too.

A dog is for Life, NOT just for Christmas.
AND I got thinking about Thailand and some other countries, where a dog is NOT for Life, it’s for Lunch.
SO, I went to the shops and, got to reading the headlines on the top shelf magazine’s, as you do: I refer to the gossip magazines, of course.
I read a subtitle on the front of one that said, ‘Geri intends to Tame Brand.’ Now of course, that referred to Geri Halliwell and Russell Brand: and, it got me to thinking.
That’s what Valentina had done with me; she’d got together with me, knowing who I am, yet she’s tried to change me.
And I have to ask, “Why do so many women do that; get together with a gouy, knowing what’s about, then do that?’
Whether he’s a bad boy, or a flirt, they get together with them, then try to change ‘em and, yet again I ask, “Why do they do it?”

Some women think they can change a man. So they nag nag and complain. They dont realize that he will change if he wants too.
And some young girl.or silly womem date the bad boys for excitment for better mmm. Just like the 40 year old trying to date a 20 year old fenale. But they dont relaize that the bad boy wont change he will lie and cheat and so one.
Mark little Susan Amy were joined on the Mathew Wright Show the horror writer James Herbert, presented by Kay Mellor.. They got to discussing the days papers. First James Herbert read his extracts, making comment, where appropriate and inappropriate, something he contined minutes later, after Susie Amy had read a piece from the … It had been reported that a new study says one in three women will forgive two affairs, but won’t forgive three, whereas only one in ten men would accept the first time a woman cheated. Susie Amy had seemed quite tickled, by the idea that women could forgive, while men could not. Perhaps that is what prompted James Herbert’s bedevilment and prompted him to make a comment that caused a degree of shock to flutter across Kay Mellor’s face; after all it was only 10:10 a.m.
“The difference is, with women, it is … penetration…” he postulated.
“Yes well... we’ll move on… and, moving on we’ll…” Kay Mellor had told the audience.
“Except…” he’d continued, smiling, “and men can accept their girlfriends, partners, wives, have been penetrated by another man…”
At this Kay had ‘changed the subject’, as it ere; while Mark Little seemed to be mildly amused and said, it was ‘delicately phrased.’
