The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

It’s been an alright week, spent walking, writing, drawing and meeting the odd one, or two people on the rave. I forget to add that in the last two weeks I’ve been out on my Fathers old bike twice now. It’s our last remaining bike… as they’ve sold all the others …and I’d not been out on one for years …about seven. Anyway, I’d got it cleaned and oiled …and off round the block I went on Tuesday morning. It has to be a Tuesday as it’s hard to get it out of the garage with the car in …which is probably why I haven’t had it out for …awhile. So, Tuesday it is.

And, there I was …pedaling like a demon was after me, overtaking parked cars …and everything …and didn’t wobble too much …when a car passed me.

I was scared, every minute of the cycle ride.

Well, the second time I did a bit better and actually showed a modicum of courage, as I cycled to the end of the estate and into Eastham; and then back home …in all about a mile and a half… and okay, so maybe it isn’t the greatest achievement of the decade…

But it was exhilarating, as I pumped my legs hard, gaining speed …on a blue sky day …the scenery rushing by …the little hair I have, blowing too hard …in the wind.

And all of that brings me to this Moment Of Now …I’ve got voluntary work on Thursday …and the joys of the dole on Friday.

Aha – just thought, I’ve got the first few episodes of Eureka to watch …and that’s supposed to be good.

And there I go …it’s early morning again.

A lecture of the Father is possible. :)

When reorting a fault to BT, its worth remembering that call centre staff based 'down South' don't like being told that they their accent sounds foriegn to your ears ...Gawd knows why?

Little laptop needed help ...and there's quite a few thing with this thing I can't do ...so I took it to a friends and now I'll be able to watch newer films on it... as AVI files that is.

I'm talking of 'Ultraviolet,' which I wanted to see in my room, not the backroom on the old tower... but, I didn't have the necessary codec.



Now I have... and that is one superb film.

Saturday was spent weeding... back breaking ...but, little Mother can't do it like she used to.

Sunday was spent on a walk and helping my Father in his determined attack on Daddy Long Legs in the lawn…

...just got back from voluntary work and to my little Mothers pleasure, I've eaten...

I'm shattered... physically and emotionally but it was a good evening, even though it rained... and we said 'goodbye' to a volunteer I really liked... Xiurong Xu.



(Although being Chinese, I believe the family name Xu comes first... except if its me saying it and I respect the person and thats why I say it the English way... and she didn't seem to mind...)

I've just seen Ultraviolet.

A cool mix of vampires and scif-fi... and talking that theme... I loved the film,

' The Omega Man.'

Not high ... no green. Ah well. And yes, I had get creative... a few pics... I had to: brains going triple time.

The green slows me down, a little.

I can be very 'emotional.'
