And I can’t recall whether it had been the Thursday or the Friday, but I ending up with Beverly sitting ahead of me on the bus again. And, at least this time I’d not made an idiot of myself, thankfully. In fact, I’d been really pleased with how I’d felt, afterward. Anyway, talking of Thursday; I had gone to ‘sign-on’ and been told, “Jackie is still looking into the qualifications.” That had probably been in response to my letter to the manager, where I’d written about the first-aid and health and safety courses that I’d been assured of, then learnt I’d not receive.
Come the weekend I had been shattered once more, thanks to the travelling I’ve been doing of late. That said, I’d enjoyed my runaround day with Barry on Sunday, with the unfortunate knowledge that I’d be doing Maths on Monday. With that in mind, I’d really enjoyed a runaround Sunday, on a Sunny day… Then I awoke Wednesday morning, sitting in my armchair in the backroom. I’d been to Karl’s hours earlier. With his help I’d acquired a backscratcher and, a long handled brush, suitable for bathing, both of which I’d been seeking since Barry first suggested for his birthday, if I wanted. He also had also helped me acquire something else I’d been after for awhile. Now it’d taken me awhile to do obtain Danny Trejo’s two zombie movies and, I still can’t acquire a copy of ‘Machete Kills’ I’ve been looking for, for months. I don’t know exactly what it is with him that resonated with me, but it has done so ever since I saw him in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mexico,’ when Johnny Depps character had issued those immortal lines, “Are you a Mexican, or are you a Mexican’t?”…
