Gerry Anderson MBE, dies aged 83
As a child, my first crush had been on Venus, in 'Fireball XL5', with my second being Marina, jn the show 'Stingray'.
Both of these were Gerry Anderson shows.
Now he is gone...
But, in my memory and, on video...
the fellows magic will live on.
I do wonder why ‘Mad Max’, ‘The Crow’, ‘Batman’, ‘Give ‘Em Hell Malone’, ‘The Exterminator’, ‘Death Race 2000’, ‘The Saint’, ‘Payback’ and ‘The Butcher’ connect so much with a side of my psyche?

And so it had been; a bit like the response of not knowing what to say to someone whose Father or Mother has died, I knew not, what to say to someone from America, so hadn’t gone on the internet, at all.
This is getting so damn frustrating. I am now getting this URL not found everytime I try to message someone!
AND NOW I can't access my own messages qwithout getting that URL message and, in the address-line ...

Try clearing the cache file on your browser- typically not only does the browser cache record a physical record of images viewed but pages as well.
hun, i had problems with firefox and VR myself...I hadta load chrome or use microsoft internet explorer if i wanna use VR properly. Firefox also hangs on VR, so IF i got through on VR with firefox, itd lock up, so it totally wasnt worth the time wasted to use firefox with VR.
More and more I keep getting this... for instance ... trying to get help. It seems that a certain ad is causing this. I am using Firefox and ie8 and the issue occurs with both.
I CANNOT get through to HELP as I keep getting that message every time I try to enter the message box.

It says on the jobsearch page of the new government jobsite, I can search for jobs, without an account. I wanted to search for a job. Well, I could not see how to look for a job on the site without an account.
Too many of these sites, like Monster.co.uk have had my details, then passed them on... Now Monster is in control of the governments website and, although one can search for jobs without an account, as a member of jobcentre staff showed me. BUT, one cannot apply for a job, without an account. And, I am hardly likely to hand my data to a firm who have a proven track record for passing data onto other jobsearch providers, as intimated, with Monster.co.uk already doing so, with multiple jobsearch providers contacting me out of the blue; and my reticence to pass on my personal data, after I had used their ‘service’.
Yet that said, I contacted the helpdesk for the government website for assistance: and when a ticket number had been allocated, to acknowledge my question I noted that in the email address that was used; it was a private firm, that was acting on behalf of the government.
My question had been, "How does on look for a job without an account?" When I’d made my complaint, to the government website, the details of the people who had contacted me, were as follows.

Many many parts of the government’s dwp has been given to private control, so who's got control of my data? Furthermore, come April, there'll be even less jobcentres, as the system is computerized further still, from signing-on onwards.
Where is the personal input? For example, it was a member of Jobcentre staff who had actually helped me, by illustrating to me, just ‘how to’ search on the website without an account. It was only later, reading their bumf I had been handed did I learn that one CANNOT apply for a job, without an account. Remember, I have experience of Monster.co.uk - the provider that the government is now using. And furthermore, the privately controlled government ‘helpdesk’ never did get back to me.
Furthermore, I'm on a work programme, so am not classed as unemployed, on the stats. But, that’s just me being irked at a system that excludes me, just like this new government system I’m writing of.
