My friend Lucie called on Tuesday. I recall taking her photo. But, on Thursday when I went to pack for work, no camera.
I’d lost it, it seems, on myt way home Thursday.
Then then, just before my friend John had called round in the evening to watch the first of the new run of Dr. Who with me – it snowed.
AND I HAD NO CAMERA! ARGH.... !
“Live long and prosper,”
Said Spock, son
Of Sarek; just before
Kirk had announce:
“We come in peace”
and shot the Klingon
emissary…
I’d wondered whether I’d ever write anything the Venezuelan ex would of liked.
Then, with a little encouragement ‘Tomorrow’ became ‘Roadsidde Muse.
And, I think she would’ve liked it…
I’ve passed this film on the shelves in the video store, several times.
As an act of amusement, more than anything else I acquired the film, to see whether it was as bad as I imagined it might be.
I mean, films wherein Dracula is portrayed well in modern times are rare: Hammer did two as I recall: ‘The Satanic Rites Of Dracula and Dracula AD 1972
And then there was the portrayal in Blade 111: Trinity ~ that was good.
But, Dracula 2001 was better than Id thought it would be and I’m pleased that I gave it a chance. Grief, it even gave a reasonable rationale behind the curse of the undead, I had thought. So yes, I liked the fim.
Sometimes a little encouragement is all you need to finish what you’ve started.
So it is that I found the desire to finish ‘Tomorrow,’ now called ‘Roadside Muse,’ far longer than originally intended: and soon to reside on these pages.
Thank you Batchyld.
