Awakening in the midst of a highway, the young man stood, as traffic surrounded him both ways.
It was night and, the lights lights shone toward him momentarily, as each car sought to avoid him.
Sky Blue appreciated their thoughtfulness.
He then tested the limits of his new experience, by walking directly across the road, as traffic approached him, at speed. Not one car hit him. Not one.
It was as if there were a physical wall around him. He appreciated it, albeit presented it surprised Sky Blue, whose coat swirled round him, as he strode calmly across the highway, cars swearing back and forth, after their approach.
The coat had been with him since that first experience, now it grounded him.
Yet as he approached the barrier at the side of he road, Sky Blue looked to the left and right, seeking assurance that he was where he saw. And he scrambled onto the embankment, seeking egress to the pathway above. He fell to his fours and crawled upward, as the rain began to fall.
And Sky Blue sighed...
He crawled upward through the long grass, toward the path at side of the asphalt.
His thoughts were his own and, had been since he arrived here, wherever here was.
And with his heart beating fat fast, Sky Blue sought the pathway and salvation.
Finally at the head of the embankment he stood and sighed, looking upward.
“I am here,” he said aloud, “I am here and believe I am who I am.”
Blonde hair and blue-eyes, Sky looked far younger than he was; far younger.
And now the seemingly young man ceased looking toward the sky, as he railed toward his creator with his anger.
“I am who I am,” he shouted, now desiring to be relinquished, from being a willing puppy, to another's machinations.
He stood at the side of the road and the beginning to the bridge and Sky looked to the path that took him toward a city and people, some of whom might need his help.
Then for a long time, in a long lifetime, Sky Blue smiled, walking toward a new tomorrow...

The Creator was content; for as ever, their scheming had proven fruitful and now with one Emmisary lost to be a friend to Humankind, another would have to be found...
Jay listened to his grandmother console him, as she handed him a bowl of homemade chicken-soup. As she spoke, he made a point not to look at the letters and numbers burned into the inside of her her lower arm.
She often spoke sense and, the young man would often listen.
Yet, as he listend to her talk at the small table in the small kitchen, he gazed inward a moment, as he thought back to the beating he had taken, just a short while ago.
His left eye and ribs were badly bruised, from the beating he had taken.
Yet bloody as he had been, the young man had stood and faced the four before him.
That was when he had been beaten down, yet again.
He was different. And moreso than he knew; yet he did not.
And then, a voice spoke in the darkness of his bedroom, as he snuggled beneath his duvet:
“Do you want to see tomorrow, Jay?”
He sat and found wakefullness within seconds, looking all around himself.
He was alone, it seemed.
Then as he looked around, the voice spoke again, “I'm told... to help... you...”
Jay turned in his bed, then looked back to the ceiling and rose.
He wanted to know more than he knew, yet he didn't.
“You are my child... Jay... and tonight you are sixteen. Look into yourself Jay and learn who you are?”
As he heard what he did, the young man closed his eyes, trying hard to ignore what he had seen and heard.
Then he screamed from a moment, as The Creator took him into its beneficiance.
It was then that His child forgot what had been and forgot his past and became The Creators new Emmisary...
His foster-mother had never known she would know a blonde, blue-eyed child, who had reached toward her and became hers and, her husbands.
He had been there's, till Now...
Jay knew he had... potential.
Now he stood, aware of his potential...
He was... The Creators new Emmisary.

He looked out the small window, in his garret room and, for a moment the young man sighed, as he looked out at the scudding white clouds. He was wearing his uncle's long grey coat. And, the sky was blue...
He sighed once again. Then, his foster-mother forgot who Jay had been, as His Creator had taken him into their embrace.
Grey coat swirling about Him, Sky Blue had walked back and forth through time, at the behest of The Creator, attending to the missions bestowed upon him.
Back and Forth, onward then backward, attending to directions provided.
He appeared as though he were an attractive young man in his twenties, with blonde hair and shocking blue-eyes, that always looked outward; yet sometimes, just sometimes, looked inward.
Sky Blue had not needed anyone, in his long time on the Earth, since he had become what he was.
Isolation was not an issue. But, being provided with time to think had become dangerous for Sky Blue, since Austria.
He had struggled to listen to his Creator with an open mind, since that time.
Yet Sky Blue was an Emmisary for The Creator, to equalise the impulses of the untoward and create peace for those who might be in Need.
But, he had seen too much.
And as this mission had ended, Sky Blue found he had time, to think; while he awaited his next distraction, from the moment before.
“Who am I?” He asked the air and then closed his eyes a moment.
There was silence.
The Creator did not answer.
